Rhiannon Bosma for Berowra
Rhiannon was born and bred in the Berowra electorate. As a child, she was part of the Glenorie Pony club, Rotary leadership courses, and represented her community as Castle Hill showgirl.
"I'm ingrained in this community and proud to be standing as your One Nation representative this election for real change."
An everyday Australian who works hard to make a living, Rhiannon chose to represent Pauline Hanson’s One Nation because she believes in what the party represents. "The working class is the backbone of Australia and it's the working class who is hurting the most because of the left-leaning politics from all major parties and fake independents which are in bed with foreign global interests."
Rhiannon knows how hard it is to survive these days with the ever-increasing cost of living and the diminishing ability for trades, industry, and small businesses to survive. "As a big supporter of local businesses in our community I'm in touch with their struggles and challenges. It frustrates me to see small businesses being ignored when our community is small business strong."
She witnessed firsthand the effects of mandates and lockdowns on her community, and this was a major influence on her decision to run for this election.
"This community needs someone who is not fully compliant and will stand up and fight for what the people want. The lockdowns did absolutely nothing to stop COVID, all they did was delay it and rob small businesses of income and staff, and cost locals their livelihood. No vaccinations particularly while still in trial periods should be mandated, these should be optional for people who choose them and have the information available to be well informed and not coerced nor removed from society for choosing to wait for more evidence or deciding that vaccinations aren’t the answer for them.
"For these reasons and more, I'm backing Pauline Hanson's call for a broad royal commission into the COVID response to ensure mistakes made are never repeated in the future."
Rhiannon recognises that we've now had a taste of just how much control a government can take under the cloak of emergency powers and says we need to make sure we never let this happen again. She has experience in the corporate sales world and high-level equestrian sports. She's no stranger to achieving her goals. She fought professionally for Australia at Muay Thai (kickboxing) in Thailand and came away with two international titles so she's not afraid of a fight.
"This community needs someone to truly represent them—an everyday working-class member of society. I will fight for what this community wants. I will ask questions. I will not compliantly sit back and stay quiet when the community needs a voice. I have a loud voice and will use it to represent this community and get it what it needs."
Rhiannon is fighting for change; fighting for the freedom to choose, and standing up for her community.
"I am here to represent you and, with Pauline Hanson's One Nation, I will always fight for your fundamental rights and freedoms."
