Left wing ideaology has taken control of nearly all of our Public institutions. The ABC has been charting the same course for many years. While ever we have left wing leaders in ruling conservative parties this will never cease. We must rise up against it before our liberties & morals are totally trashed

The horse has bolted Steve. The Unions, to which most people in the Public Service and the ABC
belong, have been driving the “Leftist Agenda” for the last 40 plus years, including the Aboriginal Victim Industry, Global Warming, Destroying Industry through Green policies, “Free” trade, the sale of Public Assets to Foreign Multinationals, and Foreign Countries (Port Darwin to the Chinese), Gender Fluidity in Education, closing Coal Fired Power Stations, (even Deb Frecklington from the Nationals has got into the act, and the list goes on and on. We need to do a “Trump” and DRAIN THE SWAMP….

I and other people I know have not watched the ABC for some time now because of their very biased views supporting the Labor party. I have even asked our Local MP why do they not close down the ABC.
But nearly all the press and media are very pro Labor. The problem as I see it is that the Unions for decades have told the workers they deserve the same luxuries as their boss because they are making them the money.
An employee does not have any money invested in their job and when they knock off they have no worries like the boss has.
I know there is a place for unions but the unions have here have far too much power. They are bullies, and the safest way I can say it, is that they are money hungry.
With Work Safe there is very little need for unions now.

Bill Shorten(shortfall) and all his cronies as well as the greens are very short on memory when the labour gov. was in power. They put the country in major debt and through their stupidity lives were lost with pink bat program and the ABC applaud this if the gov . had enough clout and balls it should cancel the ABC and make it run it own affairs without the support of the tax payer who I don’t think has much time for its bias including its so called prim time news reporters

I have to ask why shows such as Q&A are dominated by left wing support in their debates? The producer has the floor and opinion.
Its not just the ABC , The Panel on chanel Ten are also bias
Although I have a laugh at most of their production , I often change the chanel or do not chose their show when politics in the media are heightened with immigration or alleged equal rights topics. They construct a one sided storyline which is not a fair representation. Twisting intentions are common for gaining attention towards the goal in left wing agenders. We are now judged if we do not vote our politics by emotional compassion instead of logical informed decisions.
When did the term homophobia become a recognised terminology? It isn’t, but you are one if you disagreed. Where is the same representation for a homosexual that does not agree with heterosexual for any topic? Slowly the left change social acceptance through the fear of being branded and attacked for moralistic or logical decision regarding social and economic politics.
Bill shorten would like the votes if he saved the ABC and relies on the immigration population as a source. I used to vote Labor when they supported the blue collars, but not since they considered the importance of immigrants higher than security or mainstream Australians jobs as a priority .
Incentives for employment are not equal to the mainstream Australian.
    I remember the statement
    ” keeping the bastards honest”
by an old party and they got in!
What happened to honesty? What happened to the ABC?
I hope they manage it better because I don’t want to lose my favourite show, “Think Tank” lol

The publicly funded ABC must be impartial. A stands for Australian. If the ABC wants to push leftist agenda they need to change their name and raise their own funds, LBC = Left (or Labor) Broadcasting Corporation. GBC = Greens Broadcasting Corporation. Funds could be supplied by these parties but not by the Australian government. Fair go!

I have never liked Bill Shorten. He uses the media to says; “If I get in, I will blah! blah! Are Australians so gullible that they can’t see through this? I think that they are going to have such a small minority if they do get in that they won’t be able to make the calls unless they have back up by other parties. So you can make all the promises you like and be able to do nothing if you are voted in. To me they are empty words. The people need to kick both parties out and start again working for the people.

Absolutely correct Steve, the ABC, with the exception of a couple of shows like Landline, has become a biased unbridled lefty junket and use their power to promote an unwelcome ideology which is undermining our future freedoms that so so many gave their life to ensure our prosperity, be very very careful Australia the world is changing but we need to make sure that we choose the right path.

I watch Landline but that’s about all on the ABC now. So disappointing that they can create the problems that they do. Yet ‘ABC’ is paid for by the people’s taxes.

The ABC has become Australia’s CNN. Should be called the “GayBC”. They are completely, 100% far left, extremist. Just look at the 4 corners, 3 x part series on Trump / russia, complete fake news ! Also Hilary Clinton propaganda, they forgot to mention the 30,000 emails bleached, stealing the nomination from Bernie Sanders, the uranium one deal which sold 20% of US’s uranium to Russia, The corrupt clinton foundation, and on and on ………….. Always women’s right’s, gender fluidity, climate change, muslims, …… all leftist BULLSHIT !

I think that it was cleverly organized by Murdoch and his papers to make the ABC look left-wing, so that it can be dismantled or sold. It will be the start for all TV stations to eventually become American. It has already started and you are helping him. We will lose all ties to Britain.

I too grew up with the abc in the 50’s & 60″s, we did not have much choice out at Eromanga, spent the last 40 years on the coast and would like to see the abc get back to the middle of the road, they still have some very good programms, eg; Landline Gardening Australia are very good examples.

The same as Steve Dickson, I grew up with the ABC and used to enjoy it immensely. Every night I/we used to tune into Kerry O’Brien on the 7.30 Report and I admired Leigh Sales so much. My circumstances changed and so didn’t watch for a few years. What an absolute shock to watch again, to see Leigh aggressively interviewing someone and quite obviously pushing her/ABC’s point of view and almost scoffing at the interviewee. Also there was a definite shift to the Left with Kerry O’Brien’s program. What a shame for what used to be a reliable, TRUTHFUL, UNBIASED and balanced news and current affairs program. I would only miss Landline and Gardening Australia if the whole kit and caboodle went. I am 100% for removing their funding altogether.

Yes to both your Q,,,, unfortunetly the “ABC” has become a biased mouthpiece for the “PC” Left. Its a dangeous shame, because I have lived some time in the “USA” & I have seen what happens when you only ( for the most part ) have commercial media. The same thing happens when you dont have a national bank ( gov..owned ) that normal people can use,, outside of commercial interests !

This is something which I have noticed and stated for some time – that the ABC is VERY left wing oriented.
Something definitely needs to be done about it – but I don’t actually favor privatization necessarily. This would mean commercials…and we sure have enough of them on the ‘other’ stations!
Keep up the fantastic work Pauline……you have a great many people “out there” believing in you – more than you’d realize!
