Extend the Royal Commission

Extend the Royal Commission | Question Time

I wrote to the Prime Minister on 23 July 2018 with a request to extend the time and terms of reference of the Royal Commission into the Banks to include receivers, managers and liquidators. The Prime Minister’s response was that the Royal Commission is independent from government and the manner in which the royal commissioner operates is a matter for the commissioner…pretty weak stuff. So today I demanded to know why the Government was refusing to show leadership, take responsibility and do everything in its power to expand the Banking Royal Commission and why only four farmers have been granted the opportunity to speak before the commission. What did you make of the Government's response?

Gutless Politicians

There's only one way to describe this week's Government, disgraceful. Pauline stuck the boot in with her speech. Watch the full version here: https://www.facebook.com/PaulineHansonAu/videos/1831414936906991/

State of Politics a National Disgrace

As Australia approaches its 7th Prime Minister in 11 years, many Australians are wondering when we’ll get a Government that simply gets on with the job of running the country.

Despite the distractions, One Nation kept busy for everyday Australians keeping the Government to account and continuing to push for lower immigration, an extension to the banking royal commission and blocking tax cuts for multinational companies.

Despite that, we made sure to stick the boot in to let the major parties know what you thought of them.

Population Blow Out

Australia’s population increased by 3.5 million people in the decade 2006 to 2016. Around 60% of that population increase came from immigration.

There is no doubt that legal immigration is the cause of Australia’s exceptional population growth.

If we continue to allow annual immigration targets to determine the size of our population, then the Australian Bureau of Statistics expects that Australia’s population increase will double from 25 million to 50 million in just 30 years.

Governments, both Liberal and Labor, argue immigration is good for the economy, but economist Judith Sloan says immigration benefits special interest groups. She says the economics of immigration are very clear. In the short term immigration reduces per capita income and in the long term per capita income gains are very modest, but these calculations ignore the congestion costs, house prices and the loss of amenity.

Our immigration policy is like a rider-less horse. It is dangerous. What we need is a rider, a population policy to safely guide the immigration horse.

Each year the government of the day sets an immigration target but there is no plan to take into account the cumulative long term consequences of those year on year decisions. In fact it’s the States and Territories that are left to manage the ever increasing population.

Bill Shorten Proposes Death Tax with Union's Support

It makes my blood boil when I hear Bill Shorten say he cares about workers. It's nothing but a lie!Yesterday, Union bosses with Bill Shorten's blessing told us Labor would like to reimplement a "Death Tax" or "Inheritance Tax" if Labor win the next election.I can't tell you how terrible this idea is!Queensland was the first state to abolish 'Death Duties' under Joh Bjelke-Petersen when he was Premier. Since then, all states have followed and we haven't seen 'Death Duties' in Australia since 1979.I'd be keen to hear from Union members on this. Do you support a tax on whatever you leave behind for your family when you die? How does everyone feel about losing half of their nett worth to Labor's Death Tax when they die?Bill Shorten is like a scavenger picking from the carcass of society at the worse time in a families life with this idea.#Auspol #OneNation #PaulineHanson #DeathTax

Bill Shorten Will Tax You Dead – Literally

It makes my blood boil when I hear Bill Shorten say he cares about workers. It’s nothing but a lie!

Yesterday, Union bosses with Bill Shorten’s blessing told us Labor would like to reimplement a “Death Tax” or “Inheritance Tax” if Labor win the next election.

I can’t tell you how terrible this idea is!

Queensland was the first state to abolish ‘Death Duties’ under Joh Bjelke-Petersen when he was Premier. Since then, all states have followed and we haven’t seen ‘Death Duties’ in Australia since 1979.

I’d be keen to hear from Union members on this. Do you support a tax on whatever you leave behind for your family when you die?

How does everyone feel about losing half of their nett worth to Labor’s Death Tax when they die?

Bill Shorten is like a scavenger picking from the carcass of society at the worse time in a families life with this idea.

Climate Change, Power Prices, Family Law & More | Pauline Hanson on Sunrise

Is there a single person here who didn't think it was a bad idea to sign up to the Paris Agreement?I've visited a number of small business and charities recently and their monthly power bills are horrific. Knocking down coal fired power stations and subsidising unreliable wind and solar, just to satisfy an agreement we never should have signed will only make things worse.Australians are sick of being dictated to by unelected bureaucrat with no regard for the best interests of Australians. We should never have signed the Paris Agreement and we should pull out as soon as we can!I discussed this and more on Sunrise this morning and as always I would love to hear what you have to say about all the topics we covered.Let me know what you think in the comments below.

“Pull Out of UN Paris Agreement Now” – Pauline Hanson

Is there a single person here who didn’t think it was a bad idea to sign up to the Paris Agreement?

Australians are sick of being dictated to by unelected bureaucrat with no regard for the best interests of Australians. We should never have signed the Paris Agreement and we should pull out as soon as we can!

Mark Latham & Pauline Hanson Tell Longman about Bill Shortens Lies

The major parties and the Greens have been put LAST on our how to vote cards in the byelection of Longman. With 11 candidates in the running, that's a long way down the list. Thanks to your membership and kind donations to the party, we've been able to light a little fire under Labor by rebuking their lies with some straight, honest phone calls from former Labor leader, Mark Latham. The phone calls cost us quite a few dollars to put out across Longman, but thanks to the media, the whole country now knows Bill Shorten and Labor have told too many lies and have been caught out. It's these lies that have made me decide to put Labor second last on our how to vote cards and if they want to continue with their lies over the next few weeks, they've got a whole lot more punishment yet to come.#Auspol #PaulineHanson #OneNation #Longman #LaborLies

One Nation Supporters Create National Media Mania

Thanks to your membership and kind donations to the party, we’ve been able to light a little fire under Labor by rebuking their lies with some straight, honest phone calls from former Labor leader, Mark Latham.

The phone calls cost us a few dollars to put out across Longman, but thanks to the media, the whole country now knows Bill Shorten and Labor have told too many lies and have been caught out.

The Truth About One Nation Preferences

You own your preferences

Every election, the Liberal party will say that One Nation preferences the Labor party and the Labor party will say that One Nation preferences the Liberals. Its all a big party trick to confuse voters. One Nation does not control which party your vote flows to. If you vote 1 for One Nation, we can't decide who your vote gets handed to if our candidate is knocked out.If you vote 1 for One Nation and our candidate gets knocked out, your vote will only flow to the candidate YOU marked 2 on the ballot paper. Any party's how to vote card is only a recommendation.Don't buy into the big party lies and confusion. You own your vote and a vote for One Nation is a vote for One Nation, its as simple as that.#preferences #onenation #paulinehanson #longman #election #auspolAuthorised by M Pucci for Pauline Hanson's One Nation 2/38 Hudson Road Albion 4010

Speaking with many people across Caboolture, Morayfield and Bribie Island today made me realise that not many people know how preferences work.

Preferences are unavoidable because voters must number every box on a ballot paper.

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE I CAN TELL YOU IS – YOU OWN YOUR OWN PREFERENCES.

Share this post with as many people as you can to ensure they understand that political parties don’t own the preferences.

How to vote cards are only a recommendation.

Pauline Hanson asked for 3 new coal fired power stations

Again the National Party have tried stealing another One Nation policy.During the last sitting of Parliament, I put to the Government that North Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria all need a new coal fired power station built to drive electricity prices down.I was told NO quite soon after that discussion took place.I wasn't shy about my plans either - I made sure people in Canberra knew I wanted them. Clearly that's where the National Party picked up the idea and ran with it today in the Australian. Perhaps the National Party can come and have a meeting with me and I'll share a some additional policies they can help me drive. Let's start with the Cane Growers Code of Conduct. Forget more reviews, there's been a Prime Minister's Inquiry under Abbott and a Senate Inquiry too. Both recommended a Code of Conduct. Review after review are simply time wasters, designed to stall the process.#Auspol #CaneGrowers #PaulineHanson #Labor #Nationals #LNP #OneNation

Pauline Hanson moves to ban the burqa in Australia

More and more countries across the globe are banning the burqa, including muslim nations. When parliament returns after the winter break, I'll be pushing forward with legislation to have our federal parliament ban the burqa also.In the past week, the Dutch have finally passed laws banning the burqa which will build greater social cohession, improve security and remove the suppression of women.Netherlands joins France, Belgium, Chad, Cameroon, Niger and the Congo to name a few who have also banned the burqa. It's time Australia moves in the same direction to remove this radical and suppressive garb.Share if you support my efforts to ban the burqa and be sure to contact your local member to tell them how you'd like them to vote.#Auspol #Canberra #OneNation #PaulineHanson #Liberal #Labor #TheGreens
