Darren Nugent is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the Northern Territory Senate, stepping forward to restore strength, honesty and accountability to a region long neglected by Canberra. A proud Territorian and passionate advocate for real representation, Darren is determined to fight for the voices of everyday NT residents and lay down the foundations for One Nation’s rise in the Top End.

A former member of the Country Liberal Party, Darren left the old establishment behind after seeing firsthand how ordinary Australians were being let down by career politicians. Now, as media liaison for the Northern Territory Gold Prospectors Association, he actively champions local issues and understands the frustration felt by those working hard but getting nowhere under current leadership.

With years of experience raising three children, Darren brings backbone, compassion and unwavering determination. He has lived in Humpty Doo for over six years and is deeply committed to rebuilding the community spirit that defines the NT.

Darren’s vision includes a revamp of the NT education system. He advocates a “triangulation model” of learning where students, teachers and parents all take responsibility. He supports empowering principals to manage discipline locally, not through the Chief Minister’s office. “We must let our educators teach, not manage behavioural crises.

He also wants more transparency and real parliamentary accountability, where constituents feel heard and respected, not ignored. Darren believes in restoring the ANZAC spirit: courage, sacrifice and unity for a better Australia.

He is running not to climb a political ladder, but to restore trust in leadership and give Territorians a voice that refuses to be silenced.

The NT deserves better. I’ll fight for transparency, real accountability, and the Aussie spirit that built this great land.
