Pauline Hanson Blasts Greens’ and Teals’ Push to Lower Voting Age to 16

Pauline Hanson has come out swinging against the Greens and Teals for their proposal to lower Australia’s voting age to 16, calling the idea downright dangerous. Speaking to Sky News, the One Nation leader said young people today are too confused and manipulated by the education system to be trusted with such a serious responsibility. In fact, she argued the voting age should be raised to 21, not lowered. Hanson warned that letting 16-year-olds vote would send the country “down the drain,” making it clear she believes the push is just another out-of-touch move from the political left that ignores what’s best for Australia.
