Gavin Wright is stepping forward as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for Warringah with a clear mission: to shift the electorate’s direction and give residents the representation they deserve. Having spent years in media production, including time at Channel 7’s Sunrise studio, Gavin has seen the disconnect between the political class and the everyday Australian—and he's ready to do something about it.
Gavin’s firsthand encounters with Pauline Hanson—at Hornsby, Tahmoor, and through professional media work—solidified his alignment with One Nation's vision. He is motivated by the party's bold policies and unwavering focus on putting Australians first. “Everything One Nation stands for resonates with the people of Warringah,” Gavin says.
His top priorities for Warringah include tackling toll gouging and local government overreach. Gavin is calling for an end to northbound tolling on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and is deeply concerned by the aggressive council rate hikes proposed by Northern Beaches and North Sydney Councils. He believes these issues, while often dismissed as state matters, have clear federal implications when it comes to cost of living, infrastructure fairness, and constitutional adherence.
Gavin Wright is not a career politician. He’s a local, a media professional, and an engaged citizen who’s ready to push back against political complacency and fight for real solutions in Warringah. He stands with One Nation to bring integrity, accountability, and practical change to the electorate.
It’s time to change course in Warringah and bring back leadership that works for the people, not against them.
