One Nation Victoria's Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell, MLC, recently embarked on a comprehensive tour of the Murray Darling Basin to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the delicate balance required between all stakeholders. Beginning in Mildura with the OZ Fish team, an NGO committed to restoring and educating the public about the local waterways, the tour continued with a driving tour of Hattah-Kulkyne National Park, meetings with the Mildura Regional Council, leading table grape growers in Robinvale, key irrigators and council members in Swan Hill, and the Central Murray Environmental Floodplains group in Cohuna. The tour concluded with visits to the Tallangatta Expo and Dartmouth Dam, where productive dialog was encouraged with locals. Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell's Murray Darling Basin tour was aimed at gaining a more in-depth understanding of conservation and farming distribution projects that have been both successful and those that still require work.

The blog titled "The Politicians Ponzi Scheme: Big Immigration" discusses the impact of the Australian government's ever-increasing levels of immigration on the country's economy and infrastructure. The blog highlights that politicians have relied on high levels of immigration to grow the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), but this approach is flawed because the GDP doesn't measure the quality of life. The blog argues that the pressure on essential services from population growth is making life worse for the average Australian. With an exponential increase in immigration planned, the blog calls for an immediate cut in immigration to net-zero and investment in essential infrastructure to catch up with the population growth. The blog concludes that a big immigration plan hurts Australians, and it's time for the government to stop making themselves look good on paper and start looking after Australians.

Anzac Day is an important occasion in Australia, where we commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of our service men and women who fought for our country. It reminds us of the values of courage, mateship, and sacrifice that are ingrained in our national identity. At our office, we send cards to RSLs around Australia every year to acknowledge their service. The responses we receive show us the impact of small acts of kindness. This example should inspire us all to recognize and appreciate the efforts of those around us, not just on Anzac Day but every day. By showing kindness and respect, we can make the world a better place, one small act at a time.

This blog post delves into a controversial topic surrounding the Australian Parliament and the mental health of Senator Lidia Thorpe. The post discusses comments made by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese regarding Senator Thorpe's behavior as symptomatic of mental health issues. One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson has criticized these comments as an attempt to distance the proposed indigenous voice to Parliament from the radical black nationalists represented by Senator Thorpe. The post also includes Senator Thorpe's response, labelling the comments "misogynistic" and "racist." The article calls for action from the Prime Minister, either by removing Senator Thorpe from Parliament if he genuinely believes her mental health is an issue or admitting that his proposed voice to Parliament risks attracting like-minded individuals like Senator Thorpe. This post provides insightful analysis of a topic of national importance and is a must-read for anyone interested in Australian politics.

The blog discusses the often overlooked issue of housing as a significant contributor to the cost of living. The author argues that housing expenses are frequently ignored when calculating the cost of living index, leading to an inaccurate representation of the true cost of living. The blog delves into the reasons behind the high cost of housing, such as the lack of affordable housing options and the impact of gentrification on low-income communities. The author also suggests practical solutions that can be implemented to address this problem, including policies that incentivize the construction of affordable housing and regulations that protect tenants from unfair rent hikes. The blog concludes by emphasizing the need to acknowledge the role of housing in the cost of living and take action to make housing more affordable for all.

According to various media outlets, including ABC News, many Australian families with children are facing homelessness due to high immigration levels. Despite promises made by the Labor Party in their budget papers for 2022 to allow only 235,000 immigrants into the country, this promise was broken, resulting in an influx of 400,000 immigrants this year and predictions of reaching 600,000 imminently. As a result, it is now time for a mass movement of people to oppose this mass migration scheme, demand a better outcome for all Australians, and address the housing crisis. The Labor Party's disputed 'fact check' through their local branch of the ABC has been challenged by One Nation, which affirms that the published government figures on proposed migration constitute a promise. Let's join together to address this critical issue and create a just solution for our communities.

As a political party dedicated to representing the interests of Australians, One Nation is deeply concerned about the lack of consultation on the Indigenous voice to parliament proposal. In this blog, we will highlight the recent comments made by Uncle Francis Xavier Kurrupuwu, a senior Tiwi Islands elder, and discuss the implications of the lack of consultation on this important issue. One Nation believes that consultation and engagement with Indigenous communities should be a priority in any decision-making process that affects them, and we call on all politicians, including Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party, to take action.

Recently, an article about the Australian rental crisis and its underlying causes was published by ABC. Many Australians are increasingly concerned about the rental situation as there are fewer long-term rentals available and more short-term vacation rentals, particularly on websites like Airbnb. The essay claims that the extraordinary levels of immigration are the true source of the rental crisis. This year, there may be as many as 400,000 nett migrants entering Australia; most of them are predicted to land in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Within a month, the housing shortage in these cities will worsen as a result of the surge of migrants. The essay backs up this claim with hard data and statistics.
