Western Australians could be forgiven for thinking they will live in a perpetual state of emergency following yesterday’s announcement the McGowan government would introduce a law enabling ongoing COVID-19 pandemic measures to be imposed until 2023. One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson, campaigning in Western Australia for the first time since before the pandemic, said the reluctance of the McGowan government to relinquish command and control of the state was alarming.

While the Government continues to deny it, we keep hearing reports from healthcare professionals that they feel pressure to maintain the official narrative or face the risk of deregistration.

Our message to the PM and Premiers across Australia is simple. Give these people back their jobs. Let them have their lives back. And once these mandates have been overturned, hold a Royal Commission into the pandemic and how it was managed so we never see these mistakes repeated and those responsible are held to account. One Nation will be doing everything we can to make sure this happens.

Across the country, One Nation is recommending voters preference conservative minor parties and freedom parties ahead of the majors. We're also telling voters to put the Greens dead last. Remember, you control your vote and your preferences. You have the power, use it wisely!

The timeframe within which medical graduates must work in regional areas should be reduced to help address the shortage of country doctors. One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said the Bonded Medical Program, which requires graduates to practice medicine in a regional area for at least three years in exchange for a Commonwealth Supported Place in a medical course, needed to tighten obligations on graduates.

Inflation is going up and going to get worse. Australians feel like their household budget is going backward because it is. The Lib/Lab plan to increase spending and borrow more is only going to screw Australia even more.

You wouldn't pick it, but the AEC has turned to the Solicitor General's office to have all of the Please Explain cartoons removed from social media. The letter suggests that unless we comply, the AEC may commence urgent court proceedings seeking an injunction and a costs order against One Nation. Look, it’s no skin off our nose. We’ll rectify the cartoon series and relaunch them in a commemorative weekend special starting tomorrow morning. If anything, the electoral commission has done us a massive favour and I suspect the commemorative special will amplify One Nation’s message right before early voting begins on Monday. It couldn’t have worked out any better.

Ms Hanson was chosen because she has “shown the importance mothers play in the development of the children, having raised four children and nurturing six grandchildren”. In reviewing the nominations, the panel wanted to identify mothers who supported women and how mothers can make a positive impact at home, work, community, church, and in the family. Other criteria for the award include embodying the traits of mothers such as “loyalty, fidelity, community spirit” and displaying “the ability to strengthen family relationships”.

Victoria’s farmers and other property owners are targeted under provisions of a dangerous new Bill that was debated in the State Legislature this week. Called the Agriculture Legislation Amendment Bill 2022, the Bill has bipartisan support from both Labor and Liberal, despite the incredibly dangerous precedent it sets for state control over farmers’ property rights. It is all being done under the guise of ‘Biosecurity’.

The people of Victoria are clearly fed up with the major parties and ready to take back their freedoms. That's why I am so proud to be able to say One Nation is standing its strongest team ever in Victoria with candidates in 38 lower house seats led by Warren Pickering for Victoria in the Senate. I think the major parties are in for a shock when they learn just how much support there is for One Nation in Victoria.
