You can be sure the Liberals, Labor, and Greens don't want me to win re-election to the Senate in Queensland. Fifteen months ago I asked the Australian Electoral Commission questions around election integrity. I was expecting to have my questions answered and to be reassured our elections were safe. Instead I had bland assurances everything was safe and elections were audited. Proof of those audits was never provided.

What was supposed to be a scheme to help communities in need get the proper health care they deserve has turned into a multi-million dollar handout and the government has tried to hide its failure by importing doctors from overseas. Have you ever heard a better example of how our failed governments operate than this?

So far Anthony Albanese has said he will copy Hawke, Howard and now Palaszczuk, so I have to ask why is he so scared of just being himself? The answer? I believe Anthony Albanese is worried that voters won't like the real Albanese.

Rural and regional communities provide the raw resources, food, and minerals, that this country relies on to survive. The revenue they generate props up our entire economy and helps pay for the free schools, hospitals and roads people in the capital cities take for granted. It is high time the Liberals, Labor and Greens recognised that rural and regional communities deserve our support, not hypocrisy.
