The World Health Organization (WHO) has suffered a significant defeat as the proposed changes to the health regulations have been dropped. These changes would have given the WHO unprecedented power over member states in the event of a disease outbreak, such as COVID-19, stripping Australia of its sovereignty. The proposed powers still reside in the WHO Pandemic Treaty, which is yet to be signed by world leaders. The next step to protect Australia's health sovereignty is to reject the WHO Pandemic Treaty and ensure that the Prime Minister does not sign it. The findings of the International Health Regulations Review Committee have validated the concerns raised by One Nation and those opposed to these measures, stating that they may unduly impinge on the sovereignty of state parties. One Nation will continue to fight against this threat to Australia's sovereignty and to ensure that the health and freedoms of the Australian people are protected.

The Andrews government's proposed windfall gains tax is under criticism because it might have a detrimental effect on real estate investment and regional growth. Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell, an MLC for One Nation, contends that the tax gives the government unrestricted authority to generate money and will further deter real estate investment at a time when Victoria is grappling with a housing crisis. Before the tax goes into effect on July 1st, Mrs. Tyrrell is requesting a parliamentary investigation into it because she thinks that boosting supply, lowering demand, encouraging residential property investment, and cutting red tape are the best ways to address the housing issue. In order to enhance the availability of homes for Victorians, she also advises outlawing foreign ownership of residential property and cutting back on local government red tape. According to Mrs. Tyrrell, landlords and real estate investors

Jim Chalmers, the Australian Treasurer, has released an economic essay with a blueprint on how to run the world's 13th largest economy. However, the plan has been criticized as a blueprint on how to destroy a $1.3 trillion dollar economy. With sky-high inflation, many Australians are struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, Chalmers' proposal of a new taxonomy to classify investments into 'good' and 'bad' based on their climate impact has raised concerns about market distortions and uncertainty for investors. Critics argue that the subjective classification system is misguided and will lead to a misallocation of resources. The necessary bureaucracy will result in higher taxes and lower economic growth. Realistic thinkers reject the idea of accurately classifying the climate impact of investments and warn against government intervention in the market.
