G’day, I’m Matt Stephen. I’m honoured that Pauline Hanson chose me to lead the One Nation Senate team in Tasmania.
Let’s face it, our current politicians are gutless. You know it and so do I. It’s my goal to represent you and your family and ensure Tasmania gets its fair share of funding and projects, instead of the piecemeal promises that the lazy, major parties and the job-destroying Greens offer.
I’m tired of hearing the Greens talk about issues in other countries instead of the problems we have here in Tasmania.
I’m proud to say I come from a 4th generation Tasmanian family. My dad, grandad and great grandad were all born in Tasmania. Our family share’s a rich history with the North West Coast. My father Rick Stephen, was born in Burnie. Dad’s done Tassie proud. He’s become a world famous Chef after winning 82 International gold medals—and it all started in 1971 with cooking classes at Parkland’s High School, Burnie. Grandad Peter Stephen worked as a beater operator or “beaterman” at the Burnie Pulp Mill. He and Grandma bought the Central Cafe on Marine Terrace Burnie.
I have great memories growing up visiting Cradle Mountain, picking wild blackberries along the train tracks in the front of great grandma’s house at Round Hill and fishing at the mouth of the Emu River.
Like many Tasmanian family members, in 2018 my wife and I decided to move from the mainland and return home to the North West Coast. We want our two children to grow up safely in a clean, well-managed environment while having a close connection to their family.
Please help me and Pauline Hanson’s Tassie team to keep the bastards honest in Canberra.
This election—Vote 1, One Nation.
We’ve got the guts to say what you’re thinking.
