Paul Henselin, born July 1967 in Gympie, is a 4th Generation Queenslander with Maroon & ANZAC blood running through his veins.
The Henselin Men have been strategic fathers across the Queensland Regions for the last 120 years, operating throughout Queensland farming and business history. Pauls Great Grandfather established farming land in Boonah Qld, in the 1800s. No longer just Guardians of farmland and business, from generation to generation, it has been strategic co-operation for the success and health of the families of the regions becoming “Regional Fathers” across different platforms in their communities.
Paul’s grandfather Walter Henselin was born in 1901 at Boonah along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters, the Henselin Men were well established farmers across the regions know for being men of truth and Integrity and today are honoured by having Henselin Street in Boonah named after the family.
Walter Henselin was in the Australian Light Horse in 1916, which today Paul is part of the Woombye Light Horse.
Paul’s father Keith Henselin was born in Boonah in 1931. In 1947 Walter moved his family to Kilkivan purchasing and operating a dairy farm on Tansey Road, today this property is 4th Generation of the Henselin Family still farming crops and dairy cattle.
Paul’s Grandfather on his Mother’s side, Sydney Campbell served in the Australia Air Force as a sergeant during World war 2. Sydney returned after WW2 settling as a business owner in Kilkivan from 1951, in 1961 Sydney moved to Noosaville becoming owner operating of a business on Gympie Terrace serving the families of the region and encompassing the electorate of Fairfax, laying a strong foundation for his Grandson to walk in the footsteps of truth and Integrity serving local families, building the community over many years.
Paul completed High School at Gympie High, while working in the family business as his Father was a mechanical Engineer, the family owned and operated the Gympie petrol station on the Bruce Highway with the Big Pineapple out the front which is a Qld Icon. Paul moved to Noosa working, married and started a family of 3 children in the early 90s. Working in sales and a member of a local band as a drummer, Paul has a love for music and is a trained and qualified on a few different instruments.
Paul also study and qualified as a fitness trainer and health, which today is incorporated in his Business Kingdom Health which supports and mentors’ men of different ages especially young boys that do not have a father, as Pauls heart is to bring restoration to their hearts/lives and our communities. Operating with local churches and Police running camps for boys with no Fathers in their lives, this is a successful model that is growing.
Paul went on to study Christian Ministries and Theology, completed a Diploma which has served him well travelling different countries doing Missions work in Fiji, Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, working helping children.
Paul is a Local family man, supporting local families.
Paul is a local Business Man employing locals, working across the Sunshine Coast supporting local business and farmers, promoting to buy local produce.
Paul is a Man that serves in His Community, with Local Soup Kitchens, food hampers, and supporting families that cannot pay their electricity bills, being an advocate on their behalf.
As a Local Family, Business man Paul has been representing One Nation across the region for a few years, throughout the last Federal and Qld State Elections you would of met Paul on the polling booths plus his mighty Mum, who is one of our Eldest and capable volunteers across the region, who has being supporting “ The Lady of guts and fortitude “since the late 1990s.
Paul is very connected on the ground with the different people of Fairfax and feels they need honest, trustworthy representation. From being electricity and water consumers and putting food on the table, families are really struggling to make ends meet. Paul believes One Nation is a catalyst for Cultural change in line with the once valued Australian Constitution and honouring our Anzacs and Anzac Day, Paul values of family is families first and keeping our communities safe – “Strong Families Safe Communities”.
From a local business man’s view point, Paul has witnessed firsthand legislation and its poor translation towards business and the rural sector across the region, lack of consultation to certain groups that allow for unnecessary hardship, yet legislation for other areas that lacks structure and allows waste and reduces value for money to the taxpayer. Cost of living, future water and power infrastructures, youth employment, will make up a large part of what Paul will be addressing and representing the people of Fairfax. Paul believes in the power of connection on the ground, people need to be heard, Paul is quoted for stating “why be a person of influence – because the world needs the truth”.
Paul believes One Nation is the only Political party focused on what is best for the future of Australians, One Nation wants less foreign influence and less foreign ownership of our land, water, coal and our key infrastructure. Our electricity asserts are in the hands of foreign owned multinationals attracted by Government subsidies and weak electricity laws that permits every day Australian customers to be made a profit from. One Nation is party of Family values that will stand up for parents to be parents and protect their children from being influenced by sulcation Governance that is eroding traditional family values. Paul believes “If we remove ourselves from the territory leadership of the town/city gates being watchmen on the walls/borders, wickedness occupies the territory”.
Paul feels strongly about connecting with each voter across Fairfax as he feels they have been treated with disguise contempt and that our regions, state and nation is been deliberately driven under the poverty line but the Government are allowing high immigration for their own agenda to bring in cheap wages to depress the middle class wage earner. Our Politicians have no financial responsibility and trade the debt between liberal and labor Governance with the Australian Tax payer paying the bill of their bad Governance, while they go onto retire on a huge pension, while our pensioners, war veterans and families struggle to keep the lights on and food on their tables. Paul will work hard for the people of Fairfax to bring accountability for the region, standing firm with courage and conviction speaking truth.
