Peter McCasker is proud to stand as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for Longman in the upcoming federal election. Born in Brisbane and raised with the values of hard work and resilience, Peter has spent his life building businesses, supporting local communities, and standing up for the everyday Australian.
After beginning his working life as a plumbing apprentice, Peter travelled across Australia working in hospitality before settling in Yeppoon in 1998. In 2005, he purchased and expanded a waste management business, Kanga Bins, into the largest privately owned operation in Central Queensland. With over 20 years' experience in waste management and recycling, Peter has a strong understanding of environmental and business challenges facing local communities.
An inaugural board member of Waste Recycling Industries Queensland and a member of the Capricornia Chamber of Commerce, Peter has a long record of community involvement, supporting local sporting clubs, and helping build stronger regional ties. He is a proud father and grandfather who believes in leaving a better Australia for future generations.
Peter is focused on fighting for the people of Longman. He believes in securing Australia’s energy future through coal, gas, and the responsible investigation of nuclear power. He is deeply critical of the major parties’ failure to deliver cheap, reliable energy to Australians.
Peter's commitment to One Nation’s principles — protecting Australian jobs, upholding common sense policies, and giving working Australians a fair go — underpins his campaign.
If elected, Peter promises to be a strong, no-nonsense advocate for the people of Longman, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in Canberra.
Common sense, affordable energy, and real representation — that’s what Longman deserves, and that's what I’ll deliver.
