Malcolm Roberts is a steadfast advocate for Australian sovereignty, personal freedoms and government accountability. Serving as a Queensland Senator for One Nation since 2016, Malcolm has built a reputation as a fearless investigator, a tenacious advocate and a relentless campaigner for policies that put everyday Australians first.
“As a servant to the people of Australia, my commitment is to defend your freedoms, hold government accountable, and ensure that decisions made in Canberra benefit everyday Australians; not globalist interests, bureaucrats, or multinational corporations,” Malcolm says.
Malcolm’s early life was shaped by both international and Australian experiences. Born in India, he later moved with his family to Central Queensland, where his father worked in the coal mines, before settling in Brisbane. Malcolm’s career began as an underground coalface miner, working at the grassroots level of the industry that fuels Australia’s economy. He later rose through management ranks, leading operational improvements in coal mines and processing plants, before spearheading Australia’s largest and most complex underground coal project.
With an honours degree in engineering from the University of Queensland and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business, Malcolm combines technical expertise with sharp economic acumen. He has worked as a business consultant both in Australia and internationally, specialising in leadership and management strategies that drive success.
In the Senate, Malcolm has been an unrelenting watchdog, demanding transparency from government officials and holding them accountable. He has led the charge against excessive government overreach, calling out wasteful spending, failed energy policies and dangerous globalist agendas pushed by unaccountable bureaucracies.
“I refuse to stand by while the major parties sell out Australians to foreign interests, erode our national sovereignty and drive our economy into the ground with reckless policies,” Malcolm asserts.
Malcolm is determined to fight against soaring energy costs, unsustainable immigration policies and the erosion of Australian jobs and industries. He has called for an end to the Net Zero agenda that punishes everyday Australians with skyrocketing power bills, while pushing for a national energy plan that embraces coal, gas, nuclear and hydro to deliver affordable, reliable energy.
“We are sitting on a goldmine of resources, yet Australian families and businesses are being forced to pay some of the highest energy prices in the world,” Malcolm says. “I will continue fighting for a national energy strategy that prioritises Australians first, not foreign climate bureaucrats.”
Malcolm is also a staunch defender of free speech, national security and economic self-reliance. He has taken a stand against digital censorship, corporate ESG mandates and foreign influence on Australian policy.
“Australia was built on hard work, self-reliance and freedom. It’s time we get back to those values,” Malcolm says.
As a Senator, Malcolm Roberts will continue to fight for policies that serve Australians, not the elites, ensuring Queensland remains strong, self-reliant and free.
I will fight for the interests of everyday Australians, not foreign bureaucracies, corporate elites, or career politicians. It’s time to put Australians first.
