Cody Scholes
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · January 28, 2025 1:55 PMCody Scholes is a dedicated paramedic, small business owner, and proud resident of Mount Gambier. His life has been defined by service, from his school days volunteering with St John Ambulance and Meals on Wheels to his professional career caring for people in their moments of greatest need. Cody’s extensive experience working across Australia and overseas has given him a unique insight into the challenges people face daily, making him an empathetic and practical advocate for the Barker community.
“I believe in One Nation because we are for our nation,” Cody says. “We need a government that represents everyday Australians, focuses on common sense, and works to deliver real, tangible outcomes for our communities.”
Having spent seven years on the front lines of healthcare as a paramedic, Cody understands the need for better healthcare access in Barker. He’s also passionate about improving the region’s road infrastructure, enhancing education and childcare services, and cutting through the bureaucratic red tape that often hinders local progress.
In 2022, Cody launched his own pressure-washing business, offering discounted services to the elderly and vulnerable, further deepening his commitment to supporting his community. Whether it’s through his business or his professional work, Cody has earned the trust and respect of his constituents.
Cody is committed to fighting against the growing influence of “woke” ideologies in government and corporate Australia. “A footy match should just be a footy match,” he says. “We need to focus on what really matters to Australians, not on virtue-signaling or divisive ideologies.”
Cody Scholes is asking for your support to deliver a common-sense approach to politics, improve vital services, and restore pride in our communities.
