Canberra has spent too long ignoring everyday Australians. It’s time for real leadership—leadership that listens, understands, and fights for the future we deserve.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 1:35 PMChristos Nicolis is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the electorate of Barton, representing a new generation of Australians determined to fight for fairness, affordability, and a future that works for everyone. Born and raised in Barton, Christos is completing his Higher School Certificate and already stepping up to challenge the system that has left so many young Australians behind.

Frustrated by skyrocketing housing prices, unsustainable energy bills, and political inaction, Christos decided to run for federal parliament to give a voice to his generation. He is a passionate advocate for policies that ease the cost-of-living burden, restore hope to first-home buyers, and make everyday life more affordable.
Christos supports One Nation’s plan to cut electricity prices by 20% through reform of the National Electricity Market and investing in affordable baseload energy including gas, coal, and nuclear. He also backs a five-year GST moratorium on building materials to help reduce construction costs and boost housing supply. A champion for economic justice, Christos believes working families should be able to split incomes for tax purposes, making it easier to start and raise a family.
Unlike career politicians, Christos brings a fresh perspective and real experience of the challenges facing Australian youth. With a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to common sense, he is ready to stand up for Barton and help shape a better, fairer Australia for the next generation.
