Canberra has lost touch with the regions. I’m here to bring common sense back and make sure Durack is no longer left behind.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 9:46 AMMark Berry is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the vast Western Australian seat of Durack. A proud father of three and a veteran of the Australian Army, Mark brings both service and life experience to the political arena—anchored in a commitment to stand up for everyday Australians and fight for practical change.

Having witnessed the failures of government policy in regional areas, Mark is passionate about addressing the unique challenges faced by the people of Durack. He supports One Nation’s plan to incentivise medical graduates to serve in regional communities by offering HECS-HELP loan forgiveness for a three-year contract. It's a policy he believes will help reduce hospital wait times and improve access to quality care in underserved areas.
Mark is also a strong advocate for constitutional protection of free speech, expressing deep concern at the increasing censorship and political correctness infiltrating public debate. He believes Australians deserve the right to speak freely and hold their government accountable.
With rising living costs and economic uncertainty hurting regional families, Mark is determined to bring the focus back to basics: affordable housing, job opportunities, reliable infrastructure, and genuine representation.
Mark Berry isn’t a career politician—he’s a real Australian with a mission to make sure Durack is no longer forgotten by the political class in Canberra.
