I’m not here to play politics—I’m here to serve Lalor. I’ve lived the struggles and I’m ready to fight for everyday Australians.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · March 29, 2025 5:25 PMJason Oosthuizen is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for Lalor. A proud working-class Australian who migrated from South Africa in 2005, Jason has spent more than 15 years operating heavy machinery in the mining and construction industries. He understands firsthand the cost-of-living pressures, rising crime and declining infrastructure facing the people of Lalor and he’s ready to fight back.
Jason isn’t a career politician. He’s a straight-talking CFA volunteer firefighter, founding president of the Stawell Pioneers Soccer Club and someone who’s lived the struggles everyday Australians face. That’s why he’s running, to restore integrity in government, bring back affordability and end the radical ideologies creeping into schools and public policy.
He’s passionate about putting Australians first: from strengthening local manufacturing and supporting farmers to fighting foreign ownership of farmland and cracking down on criminals who take advantage of our immigration system. Jason stands against digital overreach, supports real infrastructure reform and is calling for an end to gender ideology in schools.
“I’m not here to play politics, I’m here to serve my community. I’ve lived the issues. I’ve paid my taxes. And I want a better, safer Australia for our kids. If you’re sick of the lies and fed up with being ignored, join me. Let’s take our country back.”
