Nicole Shires is a passionate advocate for everyday Australians, determined to bring real-world experience and common-sense leadership to Parliament. As a Personal Trainer and Gym Manager, Nicole has spent years holding people accountable, cutting through excuses and helping individuals reach their potential. Now, she’s ready to take that same no-nonsense approach to Canberra.

“For too long, we’ve been governed by career politicians who have never had to balance a household budget, struggle with rising costs, or fight for a fair go,” Nicole says. “They live in a taxpayer-funded bubble, completely out of touch with the reality that ordinary Australians face every day.”

Born and raised in Queensland, Nicole has watched her state and country be mismanaged by politicians who care more about their party than their people. She is deeply concerned about the rising cost of living, skyrocketing energy prices and the impact of mass migration on housing and infrastructure.

“Families are struggling to keep up with energy bills, rent and mortgages, while our leaders throw billions at green energy scams and foreign interests,” Nicole explains. “We need leaders who prioritise Australians first, who ensure our natural resources are used to provide affordable energy for our own people, not just exported for profit.”

Nicole is also determined to hold politicians accountable for their broken promises and political games. She believes that too many in Canberra operate without scrutiny, protected by a media unwilling to challenge their lies. “I see it every day in my work, people make excuses and without accountability, nothing changes,” she says. “It’s time we had real representatives in Parliament who aren’t afraid to call out the hypocrisy and demand better for the Australian people.”

A proud supporter of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, Nicole aligns with the party’s values of fairness, national pride and putting Australians first. She stands against woke agendas being forced onto everyday Australians and believes in restoring trust in political leadership.

“I’ve always admired Pauline Hanson for standing strong in her values, even when it’s not easy,” Nicole says. “She says what everyone else is thinking, but doesn’t have the courage to say. That’s the kind of leadership we need and that’s exactly what I will bring to the people of Petrie.”

Nicole is asking for the support of her community to bring a voice of reason, strength and integrity to Parliament. She is committed to making sure the people of Petrie have a representative who listens, fights for their interests, and demands accountability from those in power.
