Natalie Davis
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · January 28, 2025 1:50 PMNatalie Davis, a dedicated educator and single mother, has called Beaudesert home for years, where she raises her daughter, Jessica. With a career in teaching spanning since 2007, Natalie has witnessed the growing challenges in Australia’s education system firsthand. Having worked in both public and private schools, she has seen a troubling decline in literacy and numeracy skills, a lack of respect for authority, and an increase in mental health issues among students.
Concerned about the disengagement of many students being pushed through to Year 12 without adequate support or skills, Natalie has long advocated for a restructuring of Australia’s education system. In 2012, she embarked on a PhD to explore ways to maximise educational and economic benefits for the nation. Her research revealed the critical need for an education system that prepares students for both academic and trade-based careers, addressing a growing skills gap in Australia.
In 2023, Natalie broadened her understanding of governance by attending the School of Government program at River University in the US. This experience deepened her commitment to ensuring Australian governments operate within their defined roles, respecting the freedoms and liberties of the people they serve. A proud Christian, Natalie strongly supports property rights, individual freedoms, and policies that empower Australians rather than restrict them.
Natalie’s priorities include reviving Australia’s manufacturing sector, securing water resources, and strengthening agriculture. She is passionate about cutting government overreach and tackling cost-of-living pressures by reducing prohibitive legislation, curbing excessive migration, and paying down national debt. Natalie believes Australia must focus on self-reliance and cut ties with international bodies like the UN that undermine the nation’s sovereignty.
