I’m just an average suburban family man who wants everyone to get a fair go. Together, we can make Lindsay a better place for future generations.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · January 28, 2025 7:02 PMChris Buckley, a proud resident of Lindsay for over 20 years, is stepping forward as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate to bring real change to his community. Born in Liverpool and raised in South Western Sydney, Chris, now 49, is a motor mechanic by trade and currently works as a sales manager. His journey has been shaped by deep community involvement, family values, and a commitment to fairness.
As a family man, Chris and his life partner Viki have raised two children who were born at Nepean Hospital and educated in local schools. Chris has actively supported his community through volunteer roles in local sporting and recreational groups, coaching, fundraising, and hands-on support. His passion for motorsport has also seen him achieve success as a competitor and serve as a life member of HQ Racing NSW, as well as a long-standing member of the NSW Motor Racing Committee.
Chris believes every Australian deserves the chance to feel safe, be treated fairly, and enjoy a reasonable standard of living through hard work. However, he’s seen these opportunities slipping away as families in his community struggle with skyrocketing costs of living, housing shortages, and rising crime rates.
“It’s heartbreaking to see people in Lindsay who once lived comfortably now struggling to make ends meet. Homelessness in our area was once rare, but now it’s an everyday reality,” Chris says.
Chris’s campaign focuses on addressing key local and national issues such as the cost of living, affordable housing, rising energy costs, and ensuring community safety. He believes the major parties have failed to act, and it’s time for someone who truly understands the struggles of everyday Australians to step up.
Quoting Edmund Burke, Chris says: “Nobody made a greater mistake than those who did nothing because he could only do a little.”

Australia’s potential is limitless, but poor governance is holding us back. It’s time for leadership that values Australians, protects our resources, and ensures our prosperity.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · January 28, 2025 5:22 PMDarryl Bothe, a seasoned advocate for sustainable economic reform and safeguarding Australia’s future, is running as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for Spence in the upcoming federal election. With previous experience contesting the 2016 federal election in South Australia, Darryl brings a wealth of insight and a commitment to addressing the pressing challenges facing Australia today.
As Deputy Chair for Women in Trucking Australia, Darryl has firsthand experience tackling issues within the transport industry, including concerns over the licensing systems for immigrant heavy vehicle drivers. He is an outspoken advocate for improving safety standards and ensuring qualified professionals operate within Australia’s transport sector.
Darryl’s campaign focuses on tackling key national issues: economic mismanagement, the exploitation of Australia’s natural resources, and unchecked immigration policies. “Australia could be the wealthiest country in the world if our resources were managed correctly,” he says, calling for an overhaul of policies that currently undervalue Australia’s abundant mineral wealth.
