One Nation elected by the people, for the people—together let’s make Australia great again.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 1:38 PMLeo Curtain, Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for Wannon, is a passionate Australian patriot determined to restore strength, common sense, and accountability to Canberra. Born to hardworking parents from country Queensland and Victoria, Leo understands the grit it takes to succeed. His early years in Papua New Guinea, where his family established a successful civil construction company, gave him a strong sense of adaptability and enterprise.
Leo served over 20 years in the Queensland Police Service, working in both urban and rural communities. He developed policy still in use today and believes firmly in practical policing and community-focused governance. Later, he returned to his roots in civil construction, managing projects across Australia and PNG.
A father and grandfather to a blended family of 7 children and 21 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Leo says raising a large family has strengthened his resolve to protect Australia's future. His experiences on Manus Island gave him first-hand insight into the failures of Australia’s immigration and welfare systems.
Leo is a fierce advocate for reducing government debt through cutting unnecessary expenditure, eliminating wasteful programs, and dismantling red tape that cripples farmers, tradies, and small business owners. He’s passionate about getting Australians back into trades, nurses back on the wards, and police back on the beat—where they’re needed most.
With experience across government and private sectors, Leo hears the cries to "get rid of the career politicians" and promises to be a forthright and fearless advocate for Wannon. He believes in real representation, not bureaucracy—and he’s ready to fight for Australians. -
Canberra has spent too long ignoring everyday Australians. It’s time for real leadership—leadership that listens, understands, and fights for the future we deserve.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 1:35 PMChristos Nicolis is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the electorate of Barton, representing a new generation of Australians determined to fight for fairness, affordability, and a future that works for everyone. Born and raised in Barton, Christos is completing his Higher School Certificate and already stepping up to challenge the system that has left so many young Australians behind.
Frustrated by skyrocketing housing prices, unsustainable energy bills, and political inaction, Christos decided to run for federal parliament to give a voice to his generation. He is a passionate advocate for policies that ease the cost-of-living burden, restore hope to first-home buyers, and make everyday life more affordable.
Christos supports One Nation’s plan to cut electricity prices by 20% through reform of the National Electricity Market and investing in affordable baseload energy including gas, coal, and nuclear. He also backs a five-year GST moratorium on building materials to help reduce construction costs and boost housing supply. A champion for economic justice, Christos believes working families should be able to split incomes for tax purposes, making it easier to start and raise a family.
Unlike career politicians, Christos brings a fresh perspective and real experience of the challenges facing Australian youth. With a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to common sense, he is ready to stand up for Barton and help shape a better, fairer Australia for the next generation. -
Our country is being divided and mismanaged—it's time to stand for common sense, unity, and the real Australian values that built this nation.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 1:30 PMJhett Edwards-Scott is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the electorate of Menzies in the upcoming federal election. A strong advocate for national unity, economic resilience, and traditional Australian values, Jhett is stepping up to represent the people of Menzies who are tired of being ignored by the major parties.
With a background shaped by real-world experience and a commitment to community, Jhett has seen how damaging modern political trends have become—particularly the spread of identity politics, skyrocketing costs, and top-down globalist policies that do not serve everyday Australians. His decision to stand with One Nation comes from a desire to return to the principles that once made Australia strong: hard work, freedom of speech, personal responsibility, and respect for our way of life.
Jhett is especially concerned about the erosion of common sense in our public debate and institutions. He believes Australians are crying out for leadership that will challenge political correctness, reject overreaching government, and prioritise families, jobs, and secure borders.
Driven by a deep love of country and a desire to see it thrive, Jhett is determined to be a voice for those who feel voiceless. He believes that only One Nation has the courage and integrity to speak up and act in the best interest of all Australians. -
It’s time for Australia to be a proud and serious nation once again. Aussies always come first.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 1:19 PMWilliam Turner is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for Cooper. Born and raised in regional Central Victoria, William has seen firsthand the cultural, moral, and economic decline brought about by years of weak leadership and misplaced priorities. He believes One Nation is the only party defending Australian values, and that’s why he’s running.
With over 15 years of experience as an Electrical Drafter in the manufacturing industry, William is passionate about rebuilding Australia’s industrial strength. He’s committed to bringing jobs back onshore and defending Cooper’s local manufacturers from destructive Labor and Liberal policies that outsource prosperity to foreign interests.
William also believes in energy security. He’s concerned about power stations being shut down without replacement infrastructure—leaving Australians with expensive, unreliable power. “Any closure must come with a replacement that is cheaper, stronger, and more reliable for the consumer,” he says.
His wife’s work in aged care has given him insight into the crisis in that sector, where workers are overburdened and the elderly often go without adequate care. “Quality aged care shouldn’t only be for the rich,” William says.
William stands for sensible immigration, restoring cultural pride, and protecting the freedoms of Australians. He attended freedom rallies during Victoria’s harsh lockdowns and supports a Royal Commission into the government’s COVID response. Above all, William is determined to fight for Aussie families, workers, and businesses.
“It’s time to put Australians first—always.” -
I’ve spent my life building foundations—and now I’m ready to rebuild this country with common sense and hard work.

He also stands firm against extreme green policies and globalist overreach that threaten jobs and drive up the cost of living.

John De Wacht is ready to be a voice for Aston—and a strong advocate for every hardworking Australian. -
Canberra has lost touch with the regions. I’m here to bring common sense back and make sure Durack is no longer left behind.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 9:46 AMMark Berry is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the vast Western Australian seat of Durack. A proud father of three and a veteran of the Australian Army, Mark brings both service and life experience to the political arena—anchored in a commitment to stand up for everyday Australians and fight for practical change.
Having witnessed the failures of government policy in regional areas, Mark is passionate about addressing the unique challenges faced by the people of Durack. He supports One Nation’s plan to incentivise medical graduates to serve in regional communities by offering HECS-HELP loan forgiveness for a three-year contract. It's a policy he believes will help reduce hospital wait times and improve access to quality care in underserved areas.
Mark is also a strong advocate for constitutional protection of free speech, expressing deep concern at the increasing censorship and political correctness infiltrating public debate. He believes Australians deserve the right to speak freely and hold their government accountable.
With rising living costs and economic uncertainty hurting regional families, Mark is determined to bring the focus back to basics: affordable housing, job opportunities, reliable infrastructure, and genuine representation.
Mark Berry isn’t a career politician—he’s a real Australian with a mission to make sure Durack is no longer forgotten by the political class in Canberra. -
Woke ideology is dragging down a generation. It’s time to restore the Aussie spirit and give young Australians a future worth fighting for.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 9:43 AMJeremy Johnson is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for McEwen. A young Australian father and IT professional, Jeremy brings a fresh but grounded voice to the political landscape. He served in the Army Reserve and previously trained as a plumbing apprentice before transitioning into the tech sector. Originally from Sydney, his family relocated to Melbourne in search of affordable housing—a personal experience that fuels his passion for addressing the housing crisis and cost-of-living issues.
As a member of Generation Z, Jeremy has experienced firsthand the frustration young Australians face in trying to build a secure future. He’s particularly concerned about the grip that woke ideology has taken on his generation—an ideology he believes breeds nihilism and excuses failure. He links this cultural shift to the mental health crisis, declining family formation, weak national defence recruitment, and destructive net-zero climate targets that hurt working Australians.
Jeremy is proud to stand with One Nation in pushing back against this cultural decline. He supports practical energy policy, stronger bail laws, and initiatives to encourage family formation. He is also a firm believer in using artificial intelligence to make government more transparent, responsive, and efficient—empowering Australians to have their voices heard like never before.
Jeremy isn’t here for spin—he’s here to help rebuild the Aussie spirit, one principled policy at a time.

Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 9:38 AMDarren Brown is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the seat of Dawson. A qualified fitter and machinist turned business development manager, Darren has spent nearly two decades working and raising a family in the Mackay-Whitsunday region. His experience across manufacturing, mining, and agricultural industries has given him deep insight into the real-world challenges facing regional Queenslanders.
Living and working in the heart of the electorate, Darren understands firsthand the impact of rising energy costs, crumbling infrastructure, and Labor’s destructive green agenda. He’s not afraid to take on the major parties, who he believes have forgotten they’re meant to serve the people—not international interests or climate ideologues.
A strong supporter of leaving the Paris Agreement, Darren advocates for new high-efficiency, low-emission coal-fired power stations to deliver cheap, reliable energy to Australians. He believes regional communities deserve their fair share of investment in highways, flood-proof infrastructure, and essential services.
Darren also supports One Nation’s family tax policy that allows income splitting between parents with dependent children, offering genuine cost-of-living relief to hardworking families.
He’s not a career politician—he’s a father, a worker, and a proud Queenslander who’s ready to fight for jobs, fairness, and regional strength. Darren Brown is standing with One Nation to deliver for Dawson. -
I’ve spent 52 years solving complex electrical problems—now I’m ready to solve Australia’s.
Posted on Candidates by One Nation · April 21, 2025 9:35 AMGeoffrey McMahon is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate for the seat of Isaacs. With an impressive 52-year career as a high-voltage electrical engineer, Geoffrey brings a wealth of real-world experience, technical insight, and analytical thinking to the political arena.
A Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), Geoffrey’s credentials span national and international registers (NER, RPEQ, RPEV). He has worked across Australia and abroad delivering critical energy solutions in both the public and private sectors. His expertise makes him uniquely qualified to address one of the nation’s most pressing issues: Australia’s failing energy policies and the spiralling cost of renewable infrastructure.
Geoffrey shares One Nation’s concern that the rush to renewables is driving up household costs, jeopardising grid reliability, and ignoring the long-term economic implications. He says, “I can demonstrate mathematically the immense construction and maintenance costs of renewables—and how they’re being misrepresented by politicians and corporations.”
Motivated by a deep love for his country and frustration at political mismanagement, Geoffrey is standing for federal parliament to offer practical, technically sound solutions to complex national issues—from energy reform to infrastructure planning and cost-of-living pressures.
Geoffrey believes Australia deserves leaders who think clearly, act responsibly, and put the national interest first. With One Nation, he’s ready to be that voice of reason in Canberra. -
I believe in One Nation’s values and will keep fighting for everyday Australians.
