Walter Todd is a passionate gardener and scuba diver who works as a deckhand and ambulance relief boat driver on the SMBI Islands in Redlands. He's putting his hand up for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation in his electorate of Bowman to offer people an authentic choice this election.

A former Northern Territory police officer serving on the front line for 12 years in Darwin, Walter received a Commissioner’s Letter of Recognition for the courage and decisiveness he has demonstrated and his leadership qualities in times of emergencies.

Walter believes it’s time to deliver new and improved roads and infrastructure in Redlands. "I want to see the roads improved to help eliminate congestion. Getting rid of bottlenecks will shorten the journey for those who work on the Gold Coast. Basic infrastructure upgrades and replacements are needed in Bowman in order to have secure power and water supplies across Redlands and for the SMBI island communities."

Walter’s experience as a police officer attending road accidents and family violence issues has opened his eyes to the social and financial pressures placed on families and the community as a whole.

"I'm standing for One Nation at the next Federal election to champion several key One Nation policies designed to support businesses financially with apprenticeship schemes to get more locals into employment in Redlands."

It is Walter’s goal to help combat youth crime and domestic violence by getting people into real jobs, traineeships, and apprenticeships in Redlands.

Walter supports an increase in the aged pension to help eliminate the conditions of poverty where our seniors cannot keep up with the rising cost of living. Walter also supports raising the annual income those on the aged pension can earn to supplement their pension, along with increasing the funding for aged care.
