The One Nation Team

One Nation brings together experienced parliamentarians and everyday Australians who entered politics to stand up for their communities.

We have representation across multiple states, with Senators and MPs working at both state and federal levels. Our team reflects the voices of Australians from Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Victoria and beyond.

Together, we fight for housing affordability, fair immigration levels, lower living costs and policies that put everyday Australians first.

Senator Pauline Hanson

Pauline Hanson, born 1954 in Brisbane, has 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Her first husband was a Polish refugee who migrated to Australia with his mother in the early 1950s. In 1987, Pauline bought a takeaway business which she ran for 10 years until 1997. She was also a small cattle producer. In 1994, Pauline entered politics for the first time and was elected as a councilor on the Ipswich City Council until 1995. She joined the Liberal Party and was endorsed as their candidate for the Federal seat of Oxley. Pauline was calling for equality for all Australians and in doing so was labelled racist and disendorsed by John Howard in 1996. Pauline contested the election as an Independent, winning the seat with the biggest swing the nation had ever seen. Pauline's election to Parliament made her the first Independent woman to hold a seat in the House of Representatives. The Bulletin named Pauline one of the most influential Australians in 2006. Today, Pauline is leader and National Chairman of the party she founded in 1996, and she serves in Federal Government as a Senator.

Hon. Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell MLC

Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell, One Nation's first representative in the Parliament of Victoria, was elected in 2022 to the Legislative Council representing the Northern Victoria region. A working mother with two school-aged children, Tyrrell used to own a dairy farm in the Murray-Gouldburn region with her husband Aaron, a fifth-generation dairy producer. However, like many farmers in the region, Tyrrell and Aaron were hit with unsustainably high water and feed costs during the drought and they were forced to sell up. Since then they’ve been managing someone else’s dairy farm, and Rikkie-Lee has been working to bring the impacts of Murray-Darling Basin water reform under scrutiny. She is also focused on energy security, reliability, and affordability for Victorian homes and industry. Tyrrell is based at Invergordon, just north of Shepparton and is committed to fighting for the best outcomes for regional Victoria.
