Aboriginal Languages in NSW Schools
Did you know that the Perrottet Government is introducing Aboriginal languages into the NSW school curriculum, even though less than 0.12% of students speak any of these 200 dialects at home?
It’s the ultimate in virtue signalling.
Plus the Education Minister, Sarah Mitchell, under questioning from Mark Latham, is unable to say which of the 200 dialects will actually be taught.
Nor can she say how many NSW school teachers are proficient in Aboriginal languages.
This is another woke debacle.
Another unnecessary change to the curriculum, with no clear plan for teaching it successfully.
It seems to be happening purely for the sake of something happening, doing something - anything - that’s Indigenous.
