  • Christensen joins Hanson in Queensland senate race

    Posted by · April 13, 2022 10:30 AM

The retiring Member for Dawson, George Christensen, will join One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson on the party’s senate ticket for Queensland.

Senator Hanson said Mr Christensen had been an outspoken defender of the rights and freedoms which underpin Australian democracy.

“George has been a strong advocate for the fundamental principles of Australian democracy which have been trampled by our governments during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a great representative for the people of Dawson,” she said.

“Standing for Australians’ rights and freedoms obviously has no place in the Liberal National Party, but it’s top priority for One Nation and I’m delighted to welcome George to our team.” Senator Hanson and Mr Christensen will also be joined on the ticket by former Adani senior executive Raj Guruswamy.

A 56-year-old mechanical engineer with an MBA, Raj played a key role in establishing Adani’s operations in Queensland and also played a key role establishing Australian logistics company Linfox in India and south-east Asia.

“Raj is an expert with a great deal of experience in the transport and resource industries in Australia and overseas, and in dealing with government bureaucracies and red tape,” Senator Hanson said. “He will be an invaluable addition to our Senate team.

“One Nation’s membership has grown exponentially over the past two years and with their support, our party is fielding candidates for all 151 seats in the House of Representatives at this election.

“We will continue to put Australia and Australians first by advocating for immigration to be reduced to sustainable levels, ensuring foreign-owned multinationals operating in Australia pay their fair share of tax, and reforming Australia’s family law and child support systems.

“And we will demand a Royal Commission into the management of the pandemic by all Australian governments.”

  • One Nation to Contest Every Seat in House of Reps

    Posted by · April 13, 2022 9:06 AM

Australians everywhere will have the opportunity to support Pauline Hanson’s One Nation at the 2022 Federal election, with the party fielding candidates in all 151 electorates.

One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said it was the first Federal election in which her party would contest every seat in the House of Representatives.

“We just marked the 25th anniversary of the founding of One Nation,” Senator Hanson said. “We’ve been part of Australia’s political landscape for a whole generation now and we’re ready to offer every Australian voter the chance to elect a One Nation candidate.

“It’s taken almost 12 months to bed down the team we’re taking to voters at this election. It’s a significant step up from the 2019 election when we fielded candidates in about a third of Australian electorates.

“It’s been made possible only with enormous support from One Nation’s membership, which has grown exponentially during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns forced onto Australian communities the past two years.”

Senator Hanson, who will later this morning announce One Nation’s senate ticket for Queensland, said Australian voters had a clear choice in the Senate between the tested and proven performance of One Nation holding the balance of power or risk handing it to the Greens.

“One Nation has leveraged its share of the balance of power to make things better in Australia,” she said. “We’ve created Australian jobs, secured funding for critical infrastructure and regional projects, and provided life-saving medical treatments for Australians with rare conditions. We’ve initiated inquiries into rural lending, family law and banking. We’ve stood against bad legislation, and we’ve made other legislation better.

“The alternative – letting the Greens hold the balance of power in the Senate with the strong possibility of Labor winning a majority in the House – doesn’t bear thinking about. What an unmitigated disaster that would be for our country.

“One Nation is Australians’ best bet, because only One Nation puts Australia and Australians first.”

  • Albo's Economic Policy? "I Dunno"

    Posted by · April 12, 2022 2:08 PM

Anthony Albanese has taken less interest in the economy and economic policy than any Labor Leader since Gough Whitlam.

How can you run the economy if you don’t know the key data?

Today's stuff-up shows that Albanese has spent too much time farting on about Brittany Higgins, Grace Tame, his dog Toto and Camperdown public housing, and not enough time studying the Australian economic data.

For all the attempts to 'frame' and 'define' Anthony Albanese, today he did it to himself around his greatest weakness: He’s dumb.

  • Why We Must Protect Religious Freedom

    Posted by · April 12, 2022 1:10 PM

This election is very important, with many of our vital freedoms under assault like never before.

Last night I had the opportunity to discuss One Nation's position on one of these freedoms; the freedom of religion.

Freedom of religion is a fundamental democratic right that is just as important as freedom of speech.

The creators of the Australian Constitution understood the importance of religious freedom.

Section 116 says the Commonwealth shall not make any law prohibiting the free exercise of any religion.

Most Australians identify as having some form of religious belief, yet many today do not feel safe expressing their beliefs in public.

They don’t feel safe bringing the perspectives of their faith to national debates on any issue.

    They feel silenced.

    They feel censored.

    They feel marginalised.

    They feel disenfranchised.

They have every reason to feel this way.

One Nation was prepared to support the government’s religious discrimination bill in the form it was before Scott Morrison capitulated to Liberal moderates and announced more protections for students who didn’t need them.

This is because Federal legislation is necessary to override anti-discrimination legislation passed by rogue state governments targeting religious practices.

One Nation will also oppose the repeal of section 38(3) of the Sex Discrimination Act, which removed religious exemptions to the Act.

We won’t support this blatant attempt to open a new era of political activism and harassment against religious schools – the exact opposite of what the religious discrimination bill is supposed to achieve.

We won’t allow the Greens, Labor, Liberal moderates, and other activists to use this change for new attacks aimed at destroying religious schools.

The fact is that gay and transgender students at these schools are not being discriminated against.

These schools are like any other—they believe in educating children, not persecuting them.

If you were a religious parent who sent their child to a religious school, you’d have every right to expect the school to maintain the tenets of the faith it espouses instead of surrendering it to 'woke' activism.

That’s why it’s important to have a strong One Nation presence on the Senate crossbench after this election.

One Nation senators will stand with Australians of faith against the religious intolerance of the woke Labor, Greens, and Liberal moderates.

We’ll make sure religious discrimination legislation does what it’s supposed to – protect Australians of faith from discrimination where Labor and the Greens will not.

All Australians have the right to believe and must be able to exercise their belief free of discrimination.

  • 25 Years and Counting

    Posted by · April 11, 2022 10:41 AM

25 years ago today, on the 11th of April 1997, One Nation was formed.

A lot has happened since then. The powers that be have tried every trick in the book to shut us down and shut us up.

But 25 years later we are still here, still fighting elections and still proving them wrong.

You can be sure the Liberals, Labor, and Greens don't want me to win re-election to the Senate in Queensland, but I know if we continue to stand together we can continue to prove the doubters wrong and continue to ensure that everyday Aussies have a real voice and true representation in our Parliament.

Thank you to all the true blue One Nation supporters who have been with me every step of the way!

We couldn't have done it without you.

  • Against the Grain Media Interview

    Posted by · April 11, 2022 10:37 AM

I had a chance to sit down with Damien from Against the Grain Media to have a long chat about a lot of important things.

The old mainstream media never gives people this kind of opportunity to fully spell out their ideas which is one of the reasons independent media is growing so quickly.

Video and Transcript available on my website here

    Excerpt from transcript:

Malcolm Roberts: It didn’t matter whether he was fighting Whitlam in the labor Party in federal parliament, or Fraser who replaced him in the Liberal Party as the prime minister. Bjelke-Petersen put Queensland first and he was wonderful for Queensland. Pauline Hanson puts Australia first and she’s wonderful for Australia.

Damien: He’s another Queensland maverick though, isn’t he? There’s quite a few Queensland mavericks.

Malcolm Roberts: Yeah, he is. Yeah, he is.

Damien: We talk about Bob Katter up in Kennedy, and Paul Lane, of course. But Joh ran for PM, too, in 1987. He was going to have a tilt at the top job. Can you remember that?

Malcolm Roberts: I can, but I didn’t know a lot about it. Coming back to Pauline, I didn’t know a lot about her in 1998. I knew it was a media beat up, so I didn’t pay much attention. But having worked with her, she’s wonderful. She’s absolutely wonderful. A lot of labor and Liberal people love her. And in parliament, they know because both sides will deal with her, will work with her. Because they know that if she says something, that’s it. She’s going to do it. And if they come back with more information and they can convince her, then she’ll take it on board. And she’s very good at listening and she’s got a very good heart. Very warm and generous.

Damien: In 1998, she tapped into something in the Australian psyche because she won 11% of votes.

Malcolm Roberts: No, she got 11 MPS in Queensland, she won 23% of the votes.

    Damien: 23% of the votes.

    Malcolm Roberts: That terrified Howard.

Damien: That would terrify anybody. Yeah. What did she tap into? What was it? Is it just the honesty you’re talking about, or were there things that were being left unsaid in Australian politics and she was happy to say them? She had an unassuming style?

Malcolm Roberts: We’ve got to understand, Damien. I’m not trying to give you a lesson here, but the MPS in Canberra in particular, and to a lesser extent in Brisbane, are slaves to foreign interests. You can look at our tax system, our industrial relations system, the regulations we have in this country. Foreign multinationals are favoured. Japan has 2.5% or had 2.5% of its major corporations are foreign owned. America and Britain around 12.5%. Australia, 90%. They’re not my figures, they’re from the deputy commissioner of taxation, who retired some time ago. And so we’re destroying our country and giving a free ride to these foreign own multinationals. And what happens is the prime ministers, whether they’re labor or Liberal, will appease them. They get donations from them. Big pharma donated last federal election, $400,000 to the labor Party, $500,000 to the Liberal Party. And now, we’re seeing the biggest transfer of wealth ever in our country’s history, from your pocket and my pocket and everyone’s pocket, into big pharma for nothing.

Damien: Can you believe what you’ve seen over the last two years in Australia? What’s happened as a result of the coronavirus.

Malcolm Roberts: It’s difficult for anyone to believe. It’s incredible. But the thing is, having had the background researching where the climate scam came from, it’s not surprising at all.

  • Put the Majors Last

    Posted by · April 11, 2022 9:09 AM

As I have always said, it is the people, not political parties that control their preferences but that doesn't mean I will be going easy on either of the majors.

Both major parties have taken the people's vote for granted and I don't care if they wear a red shirt or a blue shirt, if they have voted to brainwash children at school with critical race theory and twisted nonsense about gender then I'll be calling them out.

If they have voted in favour of these climate change targets that are destroying our economy, driving up electricity prices and the cost of living I'll be calling them out.

If they have supported or failed to fight back against COVID-19 jab mandates and lockdowns I'll be calling them out.

If they have supported mass migration or failed to support family law reform I'll be calling them out.

If they are a fake independent bankrolled by elitist billionaires pushing a globalist agenda I'll be calling them out.

With your support, One Nation will make sure that these fakes and failures are taught a lesson they will always remember.

Together we can make sure the voters of Australia are never taken for granted ever again.

  • Make Sure You're Enrolled to Vote

    Posted by · April 08, 2022 3:54 PM

Fifteen months ago I asked the Australian Electoral Commission questions around election integrity.

I was expecting to have my questions answered and to be reassured our elections were safe.

Instead I had bland assurances everything was safe and elections were audited. Proof of those audits was never provided.

After spending all of 2021 pursuing the AEC, One Nation presented our Electoral Legislation Amendment (Voter Integrity) Bill 2021 to the Senate. Special Minister of State Morton finally realised we did have a problem and the government passed a suite of bills to address our concerns.

My questions on Tuesday to the Australian Electoral Commission covered the only area the Government was not able to fix because of opposition from the ALP and the Greens – voter ID. The need for voter ID dates from 1995 when the AEC stopped residency checks, which is a way of auditing the voter rolls.

Out of date voter rolls allow dishonest players to vote multiple times, at multiple booths using a different name from the voter roll each time. These are the names of voters who have left the country, passed away, moved away and so on, plus human and data-matching errors at the AEC

The only way to ensure every vote comes from a properly registered voter, voting once under their own name is to ask for voter ID.

The answers to my questions to Tom Rogers, the Electoral Commissioner were far from forthright. I will be resuming this matter in the new Parliament.

I urge all Australians to enrol to vote, and to exercise your right to vote in the next election.
