Beef Week with Senator Pauline Hanson

Beef Week in Rockhampton, Queensland, is a major international event where the world is shown the quality and value of Australia’s beef production.

Australia produces about 4% of the world’s beef, seventh in the world behind the United States, but is one of the world’s top three exporters. With our wide-open spaces, clever farming practices, and proud beef industry history, there is no reason Australia couldn’t be the world’s largest exporter of beef and associated products.

In comparison to other countries, Australians eat more meat per person than any other nation.

Senator Pauline Hanson and her One Nation candidate for Keppel, James Ashby, were both present for Beef Week in Rockhampton this year.

Governments of every political persuasion need to do better when it comes to promoting, protecting, and defending Australia’s beef industry.

Ridiculous net zero targets will cut a swathe of economic destruction through the beef industry and regional Australia.

Fuel costs and other production costs are threatening the profitability of the industry. Ridiculous government policies on water rights, industrial relations, property rights, and farming generally will take its toll on the beef industry.

One Nation supports Australian farmers and the beef industry in particular. We support a farmer’s right to farm their land in the best possible way, and we recognise a farmer’s status as custodians of the land they farm.
