One Nation will again aim to introduce a ban on burqas and other face-coverings in public settings after Italy’s ruling party introduced similar legislation in line with other European countries.

Party leader Senator Pauline Hanson said she had attempted to ban burqas and face coverings in the past, and was acting again as more countries woke up to the public security threat they represented.
