Rod Caddies on BDR, Digital ID, and Liquor Control Act

Honourable Rod Caddies reaffirmed One Nation’s support for the Liquor Control Act while pressing for stronger wraparound services to support those on the Banned Drinkers Register (BDR). He warned that without proper rehabilitation, people turn to dangerous alternatives like fuel sniffing or home-distilled alcohol. Rod Caddies also raised concerns about digital ID, stressing that physical IDs must always remain an option, and highlighted the need to ease compliance costs for small family businesses.
