Rod Caddies and Phil Scott Sworn In to WA Parliament

Thursday marked a major milestone for One Nation in Western Australia, with Rod Caddies and Phil Scott officially sworn in as Members of the WA Legislative Council. Their election is a clear message from voters across the state, people are ready for change and they’re turning to One Nation to deliver it.

Rod Caddies, now leading One Nation in WA, is no stranger to hard work or public service. He grew up on a farm in Manjimup, worked in child protection, construction and mining, and served in the Army Reserve. From 2017 to 2021, Rod was Chief of Staff to One Nation’s WA MPs, building experience in the political trenches. Today, he lives in Perth with his wife and children, running a horse riding school and staying grounded in community life. Rod is a practical, committed leader focused on building One Nation into a genuine alternative to the major parties.

Phil Scott brings a different but equally important perspective. Having moved to Australia 34 years ago, he’s worked in insurance, logistics and market research; industries that have given him insight into the real pressures facing local families and businesses. Phil has helped raise six children and understands how rising rents, grocery costs and government charges are squeezing households. He’s also deeply concerned about the direction of education in WA and the worsening child mental health crisis. His goal in Parliament is clear: restore common sense and raise the standard of living for everyday people.

The swearing-in of Rod and Phil is more than just a ceremonial moment. It represents a growing movement in WA, one that values action over excuses, accountability over spin and a real voice for the people. Their presence in the Legislative Council gives Western Australians a new reason to hope and One Nation a stronger platform to fight for the state’s future.

This is just the beginning.
