WA Election 2025: One Nation’s candidate for Albany Quintin Bischoff on Wokism, Emissions and Healthcare

Quintin Bisschoff Announces Candidacy for Albany with One Nation

MOUNT BARKER – Quintin Bisschoff, a small business owner and longtime resident of rural Western Australia, has been announced as One Nation’s candidate for Albany in the upcoming election.

At 40 years old, Bisschoff believes he offers a fresh alternative to major party candidates, arguing they are burdened by defending past decisions.

“I will be able to call out problems without having to worry about offending anyone,” he said.

Bisschoff identified cost of living pressures, housing shortages, and healthcare as the most pressing issues facing Albany residents, while also voicing strong opposition to policies like the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act.

“Albany Hospital is bursting at the seams,” he noted, adding that One Nation would prioritise reinvestment in healthcare and education rather than pursuing emissions targets, which he claims would save taxpayers billions.

Unlike other parties, Bisschoff said One Nation would not engage in making grand spending promises but would focus on ensuring fiscal responsibility.

“My vision is simple: maintain our way of life, look after our community, and make sure everyday West Aussies are not left behind.”

A resident of Mount Barker, Bisschoff praised Albany’s natural beauty and strong community spirit, calling it “one of the most beautiful places on earth.”
