Meet your Corio candidate

Adam Helman

Pauline Hanson’s One Nation

Occupation: Retired Veteran.

Resides: Lara.

How long have you lived in your electorate? I have lived here for 3.5 years and 15 more in my childhood.

What’s your involvement with the community? I’m a Volunteer fire fighter, and school crossing supervisor.

Are you associated with or have you been associated with a political party or movement? I recently became a member for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation.

Who are you preferencing? I am fully committed to support One Nation, and the time for change is now.

What is your campaign budget? Are you receiving financial assistance? Self-funded, with some support from my party.

For you, what are the three most important issues in your electorate? Protecting the Australian way of life; by adding Anzac Day to the school curriculum, keeping the Australian flag flying high with pride, honoring our emergency service members, encourage everyone to attend Australia Day celebrations, keeping the classic life style of a family BBQ and cricket in the backyard, and supporting the freedom of speech for everyone.

Youth crime; Incentives to help educate our kids and teach them essential life skills by joining programs such as Scouts, Cadets, Girl Guides and local sporting teams. I would like to see more opportunities for high school age kids to be able to start affordable trade school or higher education to get a head start in life.

Healthcare and family support; I support pensioners, veterans, and those with disabilities or on the NDIS, and want to help them be able to return to safe accommodating workforce. I want to support victims of domestic violence by creating safer places to go. I support people who have ASD to make the condition more aware in our community and accommodating at schools and in the workplace.
