Senator Pauline Hanson Slams Immigration Surge and Canberra Elites
Pauline Hanson has delivered a direct warning to Australians about the consequences of the country’s runaway immigration surge and the political class enabling it. She criticised both Labor and the Coalition for putting big business and fake GDP figures ahead of ordinary Australians struggling with housing, hospital wait times and cost-of-living pressures.
Senator Pauline Hanson argues the major parties remain beholden to the “big end of town,” relying on high immigration to artificially inflate the economy and hide the reality of overspending-driven recession. Between 2022 and 2023 alone, Australia brought in 740,000 migrants — yet just 51,605 were skilled, and only 1,800 worked in construction.
She says immigration must be cut to 130,000 per year until essential services recover.
She also mocked the proposal to host COP31 in Adelaide, calling it a billion-dollar farce. With more than 660 private jets attending the last conference, she highlighted that Adelaide doesn’t have the capacity to park even a fraction of them, exposing the environmental hypocrisy of global elites.
In a lighter moment, Senator Pauline Hanson confirmed she has already planned a home-cooked steak dinner with Barnaby Joyce as discussions continue about his potential Senate run under One Nation.
