The Labor Government says that the capital gains tax reforms in the budget will make younger people better off! It couldn’t be further from the truth. These tax changes will hurt young people. If the Government really wanted to help young Aussies get a foot on the property ladder, they’d cut mass migration and ban foreign ownership of property. They never will, and it’s young Aussies trying to get their first home who will pay the highest price!
