One Nation wishes our leader and founder Senator Pauline Hanson a very happy birthday this week. For someone who is now 72, Pauline remains fit as a fiddle and strongly committed to stand for another term in Parliament in 2028.

“They won’t be carrying me out of Parliament in a box,” she recently told a media outlet, saying she was looking forward to retirement eventually but not until she has the right people in the right places to carry on her legacy.

Speculation is rife about whether Pauline will stand in a lower house seat or seek a third consecutive term in the Senate. She says the prospect of returning to the House of Representatives – 32 years after becoming the first woman independent elected to that House – remains under consideration.

Whatever she decides, Pauline can be proud of what she’s achieved – often in the face of relentless attacks and adversity – as One Nation surges in voter support and threatens the cosy two-party system that has failed to deliver for the Australian people.
