As reported by NewsCorp papers, fresh polling shows One Nation surging nationally, and even the knockers are starting to look nervous.

New national research has One Nation’s support exploding since the last federal election, now sitting firmly in the low 20s and breathing down the Coalition’s neck. One Nation is now gaining serious momentum.

Barnaby Joyce has come out swinging at the critics who’ve spent years sneering at One Nation as irrelevant or “minor”, calling that attitude arrogant and plainly wrong. After joining the party late last year, Mr Joyce says he’s humbled by the response but clear-eyed about the task ahead. Support is earned, not assumed he has said.

The numbers also tell a bigger story. While Labor and the Coalition are treading water and the Greens remain capped, One Nation is the party Australians are actively moving towards. That shift accelerated after the Bondi terror attack, with voters clearly responding to One Nation’s straight-talking approach on national security, social cohesion and law and order.

Pauline Hanson’s personal approval ratings also stack up better than both the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader. Voters may not agree with everything, but they respect consistency, conviction and someone who actually says what they think.

The message from the polls is simple. Australians are making their own judgements, and a growing number like the direction One Nation is heading. The old political class can scoff all they want. The voters are doing the talking now.
