The world we’re living in is becoming increasingly uncertain, and concerns about China are growing, yet Labor chooses this moment to cut our defence budget by $800 million. We get a vague commitment from them that they plan to build a bigger defence force from the 2030s onwards. We just have to hope that, for the good of our national security, this Labor Government is long gone by then!
