Lee Hanson Live: Calls Out Labor’s Freebies & Mass Migration Crisis | One Nation
One Nation’s Lee Hanson has delivered a sharp and compelling live interview on Sky News Extra, calling out political hypocrisy, taxpayer waste, and Australia’s exploding migration crisis.
Hanson condemned Labor minister Anika Wells after revelations she spent $1,200 of taxpayer money on a single dinner in Paris, all while Australians struggle through a cost-of-living crisis. She said Australians are fed up with politicians excusing lavish spending by claiming it’s “within the rules.”
Hanson argued that both Parliament and the media must hold MPs accountable for spending and broken promises. She called for an independent body to review political expenses and even suggested penalties for politicians who repeatedly fail to deliver on election commitments.
The interview then shifted to the issue dominating national conversation: mass migration. New poll data revealed 53% of Australians believe immigration numbers are far too high, with 64% supporting a pause until housing shortages are fixed a position One Nation has championed for decades.
Hanson said Australians are finally speaking openly about concerns the major parties have long ignored.
She highlighted One Nation’s policy to cap immigration at 130,000, allowing truly skilled migrants in while protecting services and affordability for Australians.
Her message was direct: Australia must stop treating honest debate as taboo. One Nation is the only party willing to confront the realities of population growth, cost of living, and political accountability.
Lee Hanson made it clear: Australians deserve leaders who spend responsibly, keep their promises, and protect the nation’s future — and that’s exactly what One Nation stands for.
