Anthony Albanese says he is worried about falling real wages yet at the same time Labor is adding over $7 billion to the deficit. This extra spending will add to inflationary pressures in the economy and push up prices. If Labor was fair dinkum about tackling real wage reductions they would be trying to find savings in the budget instead of pumping more money into the economy and risk letting the inflation genie out of the bottle.
