One Nation Puts Blowtorch to Toxic CFMEU
Getting in bed with bikies and organised crime. Criminal assaults on non-union workers just trying to make a living. Stalking and illegal intimidation of non-union workers at their own homes.
Organised wage theft on an unprecedented scale in the coal mining industry. Economic productivity is in freefall. Major construction projects worth billions of dollars are at a standstill.
The renewables scam is driving record energy bills and leaving families desperate and homeless. A national housing and construction crisis is seeing major building companies go out of business every week.
The CFMEU and their Labor puppets are directly responsible for all of these things.
And while Labor will deny it, the CFMEU will proudly proclaim what they’ve done and wear these crimes like a badge of honour.
Labor unleashed these criminals to hold Australia’s economy hostage, faithfully eliminating any and all barriers and checks on the CFMEU’s conduct and power.
Labor’s been embarrassed into finally doing something about the CFMEU after revelations in the media about the militant thug union’s links to organised crime.
Senator Malcolm Roberts revealed what has been called the biggest case of wage theft in Australian history earlier this year, illustrating for all to see that the CFMEU has no interest in workers’ entitlements, safety, or conditions.
No, the only interest is power and money.
Senator Pauline Hanson called for a ban on political donations by unions or their affiliates as a simple and effective solution to curb CFMEU power, similar to the ban on property developers, gambling and tobacco interests.
“Corrupt union bosses are no less toxic to Australians than tobacco and gambling addictions,” she said.
Labor is incapable of reigning in the excesses of the CFMEU because of the party’s reliance on CFMEU election funding. To put this thug union in its place and reinstate the Australian Building and Construction Commission, a conservative government with One Nation's support is necessary.
