One Nation in pole position for Farrer

With just one week to go, the eyes of the nation are increasingly turning to the critical Federal by-election in the New South Wales regional seat of Farrer.
Farrer is the first Federal test of One Nation's surge in the polls following the party's stunning success at the state election in South Australia.

The contest is now heating up after the Liberals announced their how-to-vote cards would recommend voters place One Nation's David Farley above the teal candidate backed by the far-left Climate 200 group, Michelle Milthorpe.
The Nationals have also announced their intention to preference One Nation above Milthorpe.
Commentators are saying this could effectively make it a two-horse race in Farrer, with polling putting David Farley well ahead of Milthorpe and the Coalition candidates in a distant third and fourth place. Milthorpe is not happy about it, saying the Coalition has done a deal because they're worried One Nation will "wipe them out".
One Nation is saying that voters own their preferences, not political parties, and that David Farley has been campaigning hard to earn votes in Farrer.
