Higher Land Valuations will Result in much Higher Land Taxes
Higher land valuations = much higher land taxes to the Queensland Government. It also spells a likely increase to your property rates as well.
And while some primary producers are exempt, there are more and more across Queensland who are having to pass Land Taxes onto the consumer at the checkout.
Land Tax is not indexed in Queensland, and if property prices continue to rise by up to 246% in places like the Diamantina Shire, we're going to see food prices go up too.
Our state and federal governments are addicted to high taxes which is feeding their endless and often unnecessary spending habits. It must end!
