Senator Roberts: Stop Mass Immigration, Protect Australians

Senator Malcolm Roberts backed a bill addressing failures in Australia’s immigration system, warning that poor vetting has allowed violent offenders — including murderers, rapists, and paedophiles — to enter and reoffend in the community. He criticised both Labor and the Coalition for decades of failed immigration policies that have endangered Australians and driven up costs through expensive deportation arrangements with Nauru. Roberts said the growing protests across the nation reflect deep frustration with mass immigration — not with migrants themselves — but with sheer numbers swamping housing, hospitals, schools, and infrastructure. He called for a return to secure borders, rigorous checks, and policies that prioritise assimilation, unity, and Australia’s cultural cohesion.
