Sarah Game has another bill pass the upper house

Big news coming through from South Australia – SA Members of Parliament are set to become more transparent, especially when it comes to declaring water assets. The Upper House has just given the thumbs up to a brand new piece of legislation, the Members of Parliament (Register of Interests) (Water Entitlements) Amendment Bill.

This Bill is all about shining a light on what our MPs are up to with their water-related interests. We're talking about a new requirement for these folks to disclose any dealings they have with water entitlements. Why does this matter, you ask? Well, it's all about keeping things honest and transparent - a core tenant of our One Nation principles.

This is the second bill Sarah Game from South Australia has successfully had pass the upper house of parliament, and we are mighty impressed with her professional work and commitment to honesty and transparency in legislative processes.

With this new bill, we're all going to see any potential conflicts of interest lurking between an MP's personal water holdings and their duties to legislate on water matters. It's a win for transparency and accountability, making sure that when decisions are made about our most precious resource, they're done so openly. So, let's raise a glass (of water, of course) to clearer, more accountable governance!
