Right of Reply: The Senate Tried to Shut Malcolm Roberts Down – But You Deserve to Hear the Truth
Australians expect honesty from their Parliament. They expect a fair go. But what happened at this Senate inquiry was anything but fair. Senator Malcolm Roberts was denied the right to speak, silenced for raising uncomfortable truths about climate policy.
And here’s why.
A Set-Up From the Beginning
Let’s not pretend otherwise. This inquiry was rigged from the start. The outcome was written before the first hearing even began.
Not a single voice against censorship was allowed into the room. Dozens of submissions from ordinary Australians were ignored. Instead, the government only rolled out witnesses who sang the same tune — calling for more censorship, more punishment, more power over what we can and can’t say.
Where were the balancing views? Where was the real debate? Nowhere to be seen.
“This inquiry was never about truth. It was about shutting down Australians who dare to disagree.”
Targeting Elected Senators for Telling the Truth
It went further than silencing everyday Australians. A foreign lobbying group — Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD) — used its submission to directly attack Senators Roberts and Hanson.
And what did they call “disinformation”?
- Roberts told the truth about how globalist deals like the Paris Agreement weaken our industries and hand power to China.
- Hanson pointed out that hundreds of billions wasted on unreliable wind and solar schemes will hit Aussie families in the hip pocket.
Both are facts. But according to CAAD, speaking them out loud means you should be silenced and kicked off social media.
Think about that. A foreign outfit is demanding that elected Australian Senators be banned from communicating with the people who voted for them. And this Senate committee gave them the microphone.
Hypocrisy at the Highest Level
The Page Research Centre put forward strong evidence showing how foreign “dark money” is funnelling into Australian activist groups pushing renewables. The committee ignored it.
Meanwhile, when Anthony Albanese told a flat-out lie that no coal power stations have been built this century, no one called it “misinformation.” When Chris Bowen promised power bills would fall — knowing full well they’re skyrocketing — no alarms were raised.
It seems “misinformation” is only a crime if you’re in One Nation.
What’s Really Going On
Let’s cut through the spin. This inquiry isn’t about disinformation at all. It’s about control.
It’s about building a censorship regime to protect Labor’s net-zero agenda, to shield billionaire investors in unreliable renewables, and to shut down anyone brave enough to speak the truth.
The climate alarmists will have free rein to say whatever they want. But Australians who dare question them? Silenced.
“If they can silence Senators Hanson and Roberts today, they can silence you tomorrow.”
A Warning for Every Aussie
If they can silence Senators Hanson and Roberts today, they can silence you tomorrow.
This is not just about politics. It’s about democracy itself. Free speech is what keeps governments accountable. Once it’s gone, Australians lose their voice.
One Nation will never roll over on this. We’ll fight censorship every step of the way, because the Australian people deserve the truth — not some sanitised version approved by unelected foreign lobbyists.
