Lee Hanson Criticises Tasmania's Youth Justice Blueprint Over Criminal Responsibility Age

The Liberal-led government in Tasmania has released a crazy new “Youth Justice Blueprint”. This is the sort of document you’d expect to have been produced by a left-wing Labor or Greens government. It’s hard to take the claims by the Liberal leadership that they have changed seriously when you look at what is happening in Tasmania.
Under the reforms put forward, a 13-year-old could commit a serious crime with virtually no sanction. This is the net result when you raise the age of criminal responsibility from 10 to 14 without exception.

Well done to Lee Hanson for calling this out. No wonder rumour has it that the orange wave is now taking hold in Tasmania.
