David Farley Makes Water Security A Priority

David Farley asked his first question in the House of Representatives today. In keeping with the campaign he ran and the interests of Farrer, he asked about water security. It was very deliberate that this was raised with the Defence Minister. The time has long come for us to start viewing water security as a national security issue, not an environmental issue. Well done, David. He promised to be a strong voice for Farrer, and he’s already proving that.

A very important point raised here by One Nation’s Senator Whitten. Approximately 75 per cent of all suicides are by men. Yet, in the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement, men are not one of the 15 “priority populations”.

Well said Senator Sean Bell. According to our Labor Defence Minister, one of the main threats to our national security is raising concerns about the out-of-control mass migration happening under this Labor Government. He seems to be suggesting that the only way we can maintain strong alliances in Asia is to accept mass migration. What a ludicrous comment to make.

Olympics-level approvals regime needed for mining projects

One Nation will seek to apply an Olympics-level approval regime to reduce bureaucratic delays frustrating the growth of Australia’s crucial mining sector.
Party leader Senator Pauline Hanson said while resources projects had experienced a 60% increase in delays over the past seven years, the Brisbane 2032 stadium project at Victoria Park was obviously being fast-tracked.

Farley sworn in as Member for Farrer

History was made this week as the first One Nation candidate to ever win a seat in the House of Representatives, David Farley, was officially sworn in as the Member for Farrer.
David took his oath of office on Tuesday with Barnaby Joyce by his side and One Nation's senators looking on.

Capping veteran access to key health services at $5,000 is disgraceful. The NDIS system has been out of control and abused by fraudsters, and the Labor Government has failed to stop it. Yet, when it comes to limiting access to key support for our veterans, the Labor Government is only too happy to take action. This move tells us all we need to know about the priorities of the Labor Government.

Labor chaos poses national security risk

Labor cannot be trusted with our national security. We have sitting Labor MPs calling for AUKUS to be scrapped, and now we have a former Labor minister (now a musician!) heading up an inquiry into the whole thing, backed by multiple sitting MPs. The Labor Government claims to still support the AUKUS submarine deal, but the only thing that is certain is that the whole issue has triggered chaos and division within the Labor Party. The irony is that, in the last few days, the Labor Defence Minister claimed that raising concerns about mass migration and integration was harmful to our national security. The reality is that one of the biggest threats to our national security is this chaotic and failing Labor Government.
