Ban foreign ownership to fix housing crisis
Posted by · April 21, 2022 9:03 AM
Media Release:
Australia should follow the lead of New Zealand and Canada and ban foreign ownership of residential property to help fix the growing national housing crisis.
One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said Australia also needed to reduce immigration to sustainable levels to help make more housing available to Australian families.
“Many countries don’t allow foreign ownership of land or housing, but it’s open slather for foreign investors in Australia’s overheated residential property market,” Senator Hanson said. “Housing is in extremely short supply with many thousands of Australians now struggling to buy or rent a home, but from 2023 the government will bring in 213,000 immigrants per year – more than the entire population of Hobart.
“We’re struggling – and failing – to secure accommodation for people already living in Australia but the government is only adding to the problem with these huge numbers.”
Senator Hanson said AMP’s chief economist Shane Oliver last year warned increased immigration would drive house prices 5% higher and rents 7% higher in 2023.
“A 2018 housing affordability study by the Grattan Institute estimated that 450-550 new homes were needed in Australia for every 1000 new immigrants,” she said. “That means more than 100,000 new homes will need to be built every year just to accommodate new immigrants at a time when we can’t even keep up with the housing needs of those already here.
“This same study said that unless state governments reform their planning systems – and there is no indication they will – the Commonwealth should ‘consider tapping the brake on Australia’s migrant intake’.
“One Nation puts Australia and Australians first. We want to reduce immigration to no more than 100,000 per year to reduce demand for housing, and ban foreign ownership of residential property (both new and established housing) to increase the supply of housing – foreign owners would be given a 12-month grace period to sell Australian residential property. New Zealand banned foreign ownership in 2018 and Canada recently introduced a two-year ban as well.
“National Cabinet was formed to address the COVID-19 pandemic but we face a new crisis now – housing availability and affordability – which will require coordination and leadership from the Commonwealth, states and territories.
“I’ll be pushing for the National Cabinet to return to the table and develop a comprehensive response to our housing crisis, with planning reform and stamp duty reform at the state level and restrictions on foreign ownership implemented at the Federal level.
“And until we’ve regained the capacity to secure accommodation and housing for Australians living in Australia, we must reduce immigration. Let’s catch our breath, focus on meeting the needs of people already living here, and then have a serious and sensible debate on whether or not we really want or need a big Australia.
“I’m very confident most Australians are not in favour of a big Australia, and it’s about time the major parties recognised this and put in place an immigration policy which reflects what the electorate wants.”

What's Happening in Warringah Regarding Transgender?
Posted by · April 19, 2022 10:47 AM
You might have seen controversy in the Federal election campaign about the Liberal candidate in Tony Abbott’s old seat of Warringah, Katherine Deves.
Deves is a committed feminist who, like JK Rowling and Germaine Greer, is opposed to transgender men (declaring themselves to be female) eroding the hard-fought-for rights of women, especially in girls’ sports.
She strongly opposes biological men taking opportunities away from females in these codes: swimming, running, weight-lifting, cricket, and footy. Good on her for this commonsense view.
I do not support Deves’ past attacks on men, however. But the Leftie media and she-men like the NSW Treasurer Matt Kean are not raising those comments in their attempt to rub her out as a Liberal candidate.
Their agenda is the promotion of transgender.
This is a worrying time for our society, with the woke brigade determined to make gender as fluid as running tap water.
Sport is part of it, but the bigger problem is in our schools.
Every week my office receives complaints from parents about gender studies and gender diversity courses being taught in classrooms.
Umina Beach Public School on the NSW Central Coast, for instance, has run a gender fluidity class for its Year 2 students, telling 7-year-old boys they can be girls, and vice versa.
The Deputy Principal introduced it to parents as follows:
“As part of our child protection unit, Year 2 classes will participate in a lesson about gender diversity. This lesson provides students with the opportunity to explore the topic of gender and gender diversity. Gender refers to the way that you feel on the inside. It might be expressed by how you dress or how you behave and for some people, these things may change over time.”
Often we are told to, ‘Follow the science, follow the science’. But at this school, biological science has been forgotten.
The X- and Y-chromosomes have been replaced by how “you feel on the inside”, whatever that means for a 7-year-old.
None of this is part of the NSW school's curriculum.
Activist teachers have converted a lesson on child protection to engage in a form of child abuse.
And the reaction of the National Party Education Minister, Sarah Mitchell? She has defended the school and praised the teachers.
When Dominic Perrottet became Premier, some in the media said he was too Christian and had too many children.
Wrong! The real danger in NSW is having children who go to gender fluidity sinkholes like Umina Beach.
Seven-year-olds exposed to indoctrination, not education.
Last year the upper house Education Committee I chair recommended to the Perrottet Cabinet that where gender issues have arisen for a child at any NSW government school, the parents should have an automatic right to be told about what’s happening.
Perrottet not only rejected this but, incredibly, said that the children themselves have a legal right to tell the school to keep their parents in the dark.
His government has authorised gender fluidity lessons in Year 2 and upwards. Then to make things worse: if a 7-year-old boy comes to school the next day and says he’s a girl and that the school should not tell his parents, the school is obliged to follow the young fella’s directive.
Perrottet at one time declared himself to be part of the ‘Parent’s Federation’, but his official policy is to keep parents in the dark on big developments affecting their children at school.
In an act of madness, he’s handed over control of schools and families to little kids.
Most teachers will tell you it’s impossible to know if transgender in schools is genuine, an act of attention-seeking, part of a fad, or a callow prank.
Whatever the case, teachers can’t say anything about it, because if a student self-harms it’s the end of their career.
This is a legal mess and a practical quagmire.
Whichever way you cut it, it’s the worst policy I’ve seen in public life: sidelining loving, devoted parents and handing over the fate of their children to woke, Umina Beach-type teachers, who are just as likely to change schools next year and never be seen again.
NSW One Nation is fighting this stuff, tooth-and-nail.
Our policy is to outlaw transgender indoctrination in the education system.
We also believe in Parental Rights and are trying to enact new laws to protect them.
Parents have a right to know. With the promotion of gender fluidity in schools, they must have a legal right to know exactly what is happening to their children.
Perrottet and his woke ministers Mitchell and Matt Green have lost the plot.

One Nation Contests Every Seat in the Lower House
Posted by · April 18, 2022 12:47 PM
I am in Tasmania today and I am proud to say One Nation will be contesting every Lower House seat in the state as well as the Senate.
In fact, One Nation will be standing in all 151 Lower House seats across Australia.
With so many candidates One Nation is going to have a big influence on this election as we have a very real chance of holding the balance of power in either the Lower House or the Senate.
If the people of Australia put their faith in One Nation we will use our balance of power responsibly, as we have done for the past six years, to improve legislation and help everyday Australians.
One Nation will also use our power to fully investigate the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and immediately start working to ensure nurses, teachers, paramedics doctors, and others who have lost their job because of jab mandates have their working rights restored!
One Nation will also use the balance of power to stop the government from flooding the nation with 230,000 new migrants every year, force multinationals to pay their fair share, and finish fixing the family law system.
One Nation has a clear vision and a proven track record.
We stand up for what we believe in and we never back down.
With your help, One Nation can deliver all this and more and provide a better future for all Australians.

Threatened for Warning You

Threatened for Warning Voters
Earlier in the week, I warned voters about the major parties disguising a data harvesting scheme as a Postal Vote application process.
Since posting that warning, the major parties wrote a formal complaint to The Australian Government Solicitor who issued me with their own warning to take the post down.
You can read it for yourself.
Be aware that if you send these Postal Vote applications back inside the self-addressed envelope, your information will go straight to the Labor or Liberal Parties.
They then harvest that information and start bombarding you with election material because they are not subject to spam laws or junk mail laws.
If you want a postal vote, apply online through the Australian Electoral Commission website.
The major parties hate me warning you about this.

Transgender participation undermines fairness in women’s sport
Posted by · April 14, 2022 1:15 PM
Scott Morrison’s backflip on banning transgender women from Australian women’s sports is just the latest surrender to woke activism by a ‘leader’ with no moral compass.
One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said the Prime Minister’s reversal of his support for Senator Claire Chandler’s ‘Save Women’s Sports’ bill was a kick in the teeth to women who had fought for the right to compete in single-sex sports.
“This Prime Minister never backs his words with action,” Senator Hanson said. “He said he didn’t support COVID-19 vaccine mandates but did nothing to prevent them. He called Senator Chandler’s bill ‘terrific’ on Monday, but won’t back it on Wednesday.
“The Australian people deserve a straight answer: does Scott Morrison support trans women unfairly competing in women’s sports? Yes or no? Does he have any conviction at all?
“In the past, women were excluded from sport so they took their bat and ball and formed their own competitions and teams. The recent success of women’s competitions in footy demonstrates how far we’ve come in Australia.
“However, sport is meaningless unless it’s fair. Allowing trans women to compete in women’s sport is not. It undermines and contradicts the entire concept of sport.
“If trans women want to play sport, they should do what women did before them – take their bat and ball and form their own competitions and teams. Give them an inch in women’s sport and they will take a mile, but not if I have anything to say about it.”
Senator Hanson also called for a ban on gender reassignment surgery or other related procedures unlawful for Australians under 18 years old.
“Woke Liberal moderate senators up for re-election like Simon Birmingham, Marise Payne and Dean Smith might support this sort of thing, but we don’t allow people under 18 to vote in Australia for a good reason – they’re not mature enough to make such an important decision – and for this same reason they should not be allowed to access gender reassignment surgery,” she said.
“Traditional Liberal voters are despairing at Scott Morrison’s impotence as the party lurches to the left on these divisive issues. Many have turned to One Nation as the last remaining political party fighting for Australian values against the excesses of woke activism.
“One Nation doesn’t care if men want to be trans women, but it doesn’t entitle them to put the safety of biological women at risk by competing in women’s sport. It makes a mockery of the achievements of great Australian women athletes, many of whom were pioneers in their chosen sports, and One Nation will never support it.”

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò on WEF

Wow. What a powerful speech and video. As Archbishop Vigano says, "But may these rights not be limited to a simple claim to enter supermarkets or not to be vaccinated. May it also be a proud and courageous claim to your sacrosanct right to be free men." (and women too)

The Elite 'Fiddles' as the Global Food Chain Burns
Posted by Stephen Andrew · April 13, 2022 4:08 PM
Earlier today, New Zealand’s Farmers' Federation issued a dire warning that all Australians need to hear, and take VERY seriously.
The ‘crisis in the Ukraine’ is having a CATASTROPHIC impact on the world’s food supply and many people will suffer, including us.
We are faced, one NZ wheat farmer said, with "the worst food crisis in modern human existence".
For centuries, Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine were known as the world’s breadbasket. This is because the region accounts for over 40% of the world’s wheat, along with many other key crops, oils, and fertilisers.
Today, exports from the region have slowed to a trickle. From Ukraine, they have ground to a halt.
The impact of this on the world’s food chain, which was already stretched to breaking point, could be biblical.
It doesn’t matter where you live, or who you trade with, taking agricultural producers the size of Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia out of production will impact EVERYONE.
And yet Australia’s government and media seem completely oblivious to this fact.
Most are too busy having hysterics over Putin to EVEN NOTICE what is happening, let alone acknowledge or prepare for it.
That’s what happens, I guess when you are being 'governed' by a bunch of narcissists so sunk in 'groupthink' and 'spin', that 'inconvenient truths' are treated as heresy.
Those who try to point them out, are howled down and threatened with censorship.
They think they are gods or something, where any 'fact' or 'harsh reality' is ONLY accepted if it conforms to the narrative or one of their pet theories.
The problem is they're NOT gods. Far from it. They are not even particularly intelligent or capable human beings at the end of the day.
After all, it was their reckless policies that drove this country’s economy into the ground to the point that our middle and working classes can now barely survive.
It was under their watch that the price of everything skyrocketed, pensions and wages slid backward and small businesses are slowly dying.
Whole sectors of our economy, meanwhile, are being propped up artificially through regular injections of mountainous amounts of public debt and wild bouts of money printing by the RBA.
What all this means in real terms – THE MOST REAL – is that Australians are all much, much poorer today.
Poorer than ANY OTHER generation since the 1930s.
And yet amazingly, our so-called 'elites' continue to ignore ALL of it.
Some even like to pretend we are living through an economic 'golden age', where ‘Modern Monetary Theory’ has magically disproved every hard fact learned over centuries.
Of course, it won’t be they, or anyone they know, who suffers when food shortages hit.
It will be US.
And, as someone famous once said, "THEY don’t really care about US".

Christensen joins Hanson in Queensland senate race
Posted by · April 13, 2022 10:30 AM
The retiring Member for Dawson, George Christensen, will join One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson on the party’s senate ticket for Queensland.
Senator Hanson said Mr Christensen had been an outspoken defender of the rights and freedoms which underpin Australian democracy.
“George has been a strong advocate for the fundamental principles of Australian democracy which have been trampled by our governments during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a great representative for the people of Dawson,” she said.
“Standing for Australians’ rights and freedoms obviously has no place in the Liberal National Party, but it’s top priority for One Nation and I’m delighted to welcome George to our team.” Senator Hanson and Mr Christensen will also be joined on the ticket by former Adani senior executive Raj Guruswamy.
A 56-year-old mechanical engineer with an MBA, Raj played a key role in establishing Adani’s operations in Queensland and also played a key role establishing Australian logistics company Linfox in India and south-east Asia.
“Raj is an expert with a great deal of experience in the transport and resource industries in Australia and overseas, and in dealing with government bureaucracies and red tape,” Senator Hanson said. “He will be an invaluable addition to our Senate team.
“One Nation’s membership has grown exponentially over the past two years and with their support, our party is fielding candidates for all 151 seats in the House of Representatives at this election.
“We will continue to put Australia and Australians first by advocating for immigration to be reduced to sustainable levels, ensuring foreign-owned multinationals operating in Australia pay their fair share of tax, and reforming Australia’s family law and child support systems.
“And we will demand a Royal Commission into the management of the pandemic by all Australian governments.”

One Nation to Contest Every Seat in House of Reps
Posted by · April 13, 2022 9:06 AM
Australians everywhere will have the opportunity to support Pauline Hanson’s One Nation at the 2022 Federal election, with the party fielding candidates in all 151 electorates.
One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said it was the first Federal election in which her party would contest every seat in the House of Representatives.
“We just marked the 25th anniversary of the founding of One Nation,” Senator Hanson said. “We’ve been part of Australia’s political landscape for a whole generation now and we’re ready to offer every Australian voter the chance to elect a One Nation candidate.
“It’s taken almost 12 months to bed down the team we’re taking to voters at this election. It’s a significant step up from the 2019 election when we fielded candidates in about a third of Australian electorates.
“It’s been made possible only with enormous support from One Nation’s membership, which has grown exponentially during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns forced onto Australian communities the past two years.”
Senator Hanson, who will later this morning announce One Nation’s senate ticket for Queensland, said Australian voters had a clear choice in the Senate between the tested and proven performance of One Nation holding the balance of power or risk handing it to the Greens.
“One Nation has leveraged its share of the balance of power to make things better in Australia,” she said. “We’ve created Australian jobs, secured funding for critical infrastructure and regional projects, and provided life-saving medical treatments for Australians with rare conditions. We’ve initiated inquiries into rural lending, family law and banking. We’ve stood against bad legislation, and we’ve made other legislation better.
“The alternative – letting the Greens hold the balance of power in the Senate with the strong possibility of Labor winning a majority in the House – doesn’t bear thinking about. What an unmitigated disaster that would be for our country.
“One Nation is Australians’ best bet, because only One Nation puts Australia and Australians first.”
