  • Rikki-Lee Tyrrell Calls for Kilmore Public High School Funding

    Posted by · October 31, 2025 3:40 PM

One Nation MP Rikki-Lee Tyrrell has called on the Victorian Education Minister to fund the master plan for a new public high school in Kilmore.

Kilmore, a rapidly growing town in Northern Victoria with a population of over 12,000 residents, is projected to double by 2046. Despite this growth, the town still has no public high school. The Mitchell Shire Council has listed a local high school as a top priority since before the 2022 state election and reaffirmed its commitment for the upcoming 2026 campaign.

Currently, students must travel to Broadford or Wallan—both nearing capacity—or attend the private Assumption College, which is unaffordable for many families. Reports indicate that some students spend up to two hours commuting daily, often facing overcrowded buses or being left behind at stops.

Tyrrell said these long commutes impact students’ mental health, family time, and participation in local activities. Some families have even resorted to homeschooling or relocating for better access to education.

She urged the government to fund the Kilmore High School master plan, ensuring students have fair and local access to quality education and opportunities where they live.

  • Senator Tyron Whitten: Only One Nation Can Get Australia Back on Track

    Posted by · October 29, 2025 4:26 PM

One Nation Senator Tyron Whitten has delivered a powerful speech in Parliament, declaring that One Nation is the only party that genuinely cares about getting Australia back on track. Whitten slammed Labor for prioritising global agendas over the needs of ordinary Australians struggling with soaring costs of living, housing pressures, and rising energy prices

“The Labor Government is too busy playing politics with their UN and Davos mates while Australians can’t afford food, fuel, or rent,” Whitten said. He warned that net zero policies are driving industries into closure  including major employers like Tomago Aluminium and leaving thousands of families in financial distress

Whitten called for an end to mass immigration, which he says is inflating housing costs and straining infrastructure. He reaffirmed One Nation’s commitment to scrapping net zero, ending reckless immigration, and restoring the Australian dream.

“One Nation isn’t afraid to stand up to international cartels that preach climate apocalypse while flying in private jets,” Whitten said. “Australians need relief. Australians need One Nation.”

With everyday families struggling more than ever, Senator Whitten’s message is clear: One Nation is the only party fighting to protect Australian jobs, industries, and futures.

  • Senator Tyron Whitten: Labor’s CFMEU Connection Driving Up Construction Costs

    Posted by · October 29, 2025 12:43 PM

After more than 30 years in the construction industry, Senator Tyron Whitten knows firsthand the dedication, skill, and pride that hardworking tradies bring to every job site across Australia. He also understands how corruption and intimidation can destroy good workplaces and drive up costs for everyone.

For years, the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) has been one of the biggest drivers of inflated costs in the construction sector—supported and protected by the Labor Government. Despite Labor’s claims of reform, the union continues to operate unchecked, spreading corruption and coercion throughout the industry.

Reports of bullying, lawlessness, and misuse of workers’ funds have become widespread. Contractors are pressured, workers are silenced, and millions of dollars meant for employees have been squandered. Meanwhile, Labor governments have taken donations from the CFMEU and dismantled key watchdogs such as the Building and Construction Commission, which once held the union to account.

These failures have real consequences. Every time the CFMEU inflates costs through criminal or coercive behaviour, ordinary Australians pay the price. Those inflated costs flow directly into higher housing prices, more expensive infrastructure, and greater pressure on taxpayers.

Senator Whitten says Labor’s cosy relationship with the CFMEU isn’t just unethical and it’s market sabotage! It’s fuelling the housing crisis and betraying the very workers Labor claims to represent.

It’s time to restore integrity to the construction industry. Australia needs a government that stands with workers, not with bullies and corrupt unions.
