Farmers should be growing food, not fighting paperwork. Every new layer of climate regulation, reporting, land-use restriction and compliance adds cost before food ever reaches the supermarket. Net-zero bureaucracy does not make groceries cheaper, it makes farming harder and food more expensive. Families pay for that red tape every week at the checkout.

More smoke and mirrors from Albo and not for the first time it is on immigration figures. It turns out that last year, of the approx 130,000 skilled migrants who gained visas, over half are family members connected to "skilled" migrants, not "skilled" migrants themselves!
